The "Westphalian Sea," as our lake is affectionately called, stands for nature, activity, and relaxation. The largest reservoir in the Sauerland, with 40 km of shoreline, invites you to sunbathe, hike, cycle, and enjoy all kinds of water sports.
Our ArnsbergerWald holiday apartment is located in Möhnesee-Brüningsen. As the last house before the Arnsberger Forest, it sits quietly at the end of a cul-de-sac, right on a hiking trail.
The dam, balancing pond, and Möhnesee are about a 10-minute walk away, as is the nearest bus stop with connections to Soest train station (13 km).
We offer fresh eggs, honey, and game specialties from our own production. A bakery and a kiosk are in the village. The nearest supermarket is about 5 km away, and Soest, with its historic old town, is perfect for a stroll.
The partially renovated (2023) apartment (68 sqm) accommodates up to 4 guests and has its own parking space.
There is one bedroom with a single bed and another with a box spring bed and a single bed (bed linen included).
The bathroom features a shower, toilet, washing machine, and hairdryer (towels included).
The living area offers a TV, radio, Wi-Fi, dining area, and an open kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, ceramic hob, oven, and fridge (spices, dish towels, detergent, dishwasher tabs, and garbage bags included).
An information corner with hiking and cycling maps is available to borrow.
Your private balcony is furnished with garden furniture and a contact grill, offering a lovely view of the Haar, the surrounding fields, and the garden with our own chickens, rabbits, dogs, and bees.
