"The property is beautiful and well-kept outside. Rooms are updated, however, the walls are pretty thin and housekeeping could have been better. We were awakened numerous times throughout the night and early morning with flushing toilets, people in the halls, and pressure washers on the patio. The Lava Lava restaurant was amazing and the adjacent beach had plenty of lounge chairs. We also appreciated the valet service accommodating us when they already had 100 cars. Overall, it was a nice place to stay."

"Beautiful plantation style home: the walls and floors are amazing redwood planks and each wall is set with sets of French doors that open to a lovely, partially screened lanai. The home is surrounded by greenery and wildlife. We saw (and heard) numerous roosters, chickens, bull frogs, song birds, wild pigs. Close, easy walk to the peaceful Anini Beach. We were there during a rain storm that battered other Hawaiian islands, but treated us with gentle showers. The home was clean and well set up- agree that it could use some sharper knives. "

"We had a really great stay; such a beautiful home and very accommodating for our family. It was a comfortable space and worked well for our trip, and we made some wonderful memories here.A couple of things I would want other families to be aware of: we did have trouble with check-in, as the details weren’t sent until about 30 minutes after the scheduled check-in time, which made arrival a little stressful. We also had some issues with the gate access opening and closing during our stay, which made timing off when trying to leave for excursions and such trying to play with the gates making sure they close for security purposes. Additionally, the washer seemed to have mold, and unfortunately it caused our clothes to smell after washing. We tried to clean it out but it appears to need to be deep cleaned due to prior users not keeping door open after use to air out. We weren’t able to fix the issue during our stay. Overall, it’s a lovely home and we truly enjoyed our time; just a few things that could be improved to make the experience even smoother for future guests. We will be back! We weren't disappointed in the home itself, and Anini is just about the most peaceful place I've been, so it was amazing to be back and able to just walk across the street to be in bliss anytime we wanted!
