"Deeply disappointed in our stay at the Saddlery. I booked this particular venue as the ratings seemed to be beaming with positive feedback. Horrible stay. -No parking even though we were told we could pay for a spot, I inquired within a reasonable timeframe and was told it was “sold out”…so we parked down the street and had to walk. -Leaking shower and flooded the floor any time it was used. -HARD and uncomfortable bed. While it was clean - I’d rather sleep on a log. It would be softer. Price point doesn’t match. I paid almost $300 for ONE night. Ridiculous. "

"We spent only one night at Ruby. Wanted to extend our stay but weren’t able to because of plans the next day. I will be returning to Madison next week and will def stay again. Staff is exceptional. Ambience of the hotel is so warming, inviting and relaxing. We felt as though we stepped back in time for the evening. Very clean, extremely clean. We had to leave at 0600 so didnt get to enjoy the breakfast. The long narrow hallways added to the historic charm. While roaming around exploring all little coves and sitting areas, I felt like we would encounter a tall thin man with a top hat and 3 piece suit relaxing with a cup of tea. Cant say enough abt the beauty of building."

"This was our first time staying here and we will definitely stay there again. It was a very unique place since it was once Mautz Paint factory. The decor was perfect. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We went to a concert at the Sylvee which is only 1 block away. The hotel was perfect. The staff was very friendly, there is a covered parking ramp next to the hotel. The fee was $20 for the night, which is expected. There is a restaurant and bar within the hotel, which we didn’t eat at but will definitely eat there on our next visit. The Vintage Brewing Co is only a block away, and practically next door to the Sylvee. Their food and drinks were amazing. Overall I’d give them a 10 out of 10."
