"It was a fabulous hotel, it was clean and modern . Our ro was spacious and it was very easy to get around from there as the metro, trams and buses were in the doorstep. However, hotels should have complimentary left luggage service and we ended up paying 35 euros to leave it in lockers . We were very disappointed by this as it was something we took for granted as a normal hotel service and maybe should have read small print. I’ve never stayed in a hotel without it before so was very surprised and felt it let the hotel down."

"Full scale gym runs out of the hotel. Very nice staff. Close to metro-minute walk. Grocery store half mile away. Room wasnt super clean. Needed better vacuuming. Pillows flat as hell. Good for the money. Located in industrial area"

Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre

Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre

8/10 Good
"The interior of the hotel has been renovated but it’s already showing signs of wear. All the carpets in the lobby and hallways have random stains. This is a theme that continues into the room. Lots of stains on the carpet. The housekeeping at the hotel are terrible. They didn’t clean the room for 2 nights on the 3 day we asked for the room to be serviced. Front desk was surprised that they didn’t clean the room. Housekeeping’s version of cleaning consisted of leaving the wet and dirty towels on the floor, leaving all the used glasses in the room, and the used coffee cups still dirty with coffee were simply turned over on the saucers to hide the use. No replenishment of water and coffee pods for use. They did make the beds so I guess that’s something. We then asked for more towels to be brought since all of ours were still wet on the floor. They came dropped new towel on the bed and still left all the wet ones on the floor. So you judge for yourself because I don’t think thats good service right there . The breakfast is fine, variety enough to eat before heading out to walk around the city. The restaurant where it’s served is very pretty. The hotel is located in a dirty area. Lots of smell of urine and feces, homeless right on the corner. Parking lot behind the hotel to leave the car . Can be accessed internally from the G level in the hotel."
