The property was lovely. Although the pool was not heated, still enjoyed the swim. The set dinner menu was good the first day and excellent the second. The staff were wonderful, especially the manager/dinner waiter. The beauty of Tuscany geography is outstanding and of course the wine was excellent. Costello Belfie (wine tasting) and the tour of the castle was well worth the 12 minute drive from the property.

Podere Brizio is a beautiful property in an ideal location within Tuscany. The entire staff are very professional and friendly. We ate breakfast and dinner every day during our stay, and very much enjoyed the cuisine. Oh, and believe me, their own Brunello di Montalcino is very tasty!

A second visit to Podere Brizio after 7 years! The surroundings are stunning and was very well looked after even though I had a nasty cold. The rooms are staring to show some wear and tear, but can’t fault the service and beauty of the place!

Disliked: Amenities
The breakfast is mediocre. I was very disappointed in the meals at dinner time . The grounds are spectacular. The bed is very firm, which is perfect for me. Stay but try not to eat dinner at this place. I would consider this hotel, very average at its best.

Stunning location & great reception from Vito. He looked after us & gave us some great recommendations for a wine tasting day out. The accommodation & views were beautiful. We also loved using the spa facilities & played tennis a couple of times overlooking the vineyard! Breakfast was great & dinner in the restaurant was amazing. A great stay & highly recommend!
