"This hotel is a short drive to Monterey or even Santa cruz. It's not your average hotel where you wonder if the people are on vacation or if they're actually living there. It's right on the water which is near the Elkhorn Slough. You might see otters in the water and there are a variety of birds right outside of your window. The room was super cute. You have access to the shared kitchen and dining room in the house on the property. I will definitely be staying there again."

"The place was fine. The continental breakfast started at 8:00 that was a bit late, but there was coffee in the room. The room was nice and parking easy. The walk to see the sunset was short although the sun didn't really cooperate. "

It was beautiful to see and hold the butterflies. Nice fridge with proper freezer. We had a towel warmer in the bathroom . Very peaceful and serene just what I wanted! We will return "

"From check in till check out everything was pleasant. The staff was super friendly and was genuinely ready to assist me with whatever my need were. I got a birthday surprise (wine and cookies) because I mentioned my reason for the stay. They told me I could have called ahead so if you have a birthday when booking please mention it so you can get a room treat. The Saltwood restaurant has a great happy hour. I didn't care for the room service breakfast meals but that doesn't take away my feelings...

"Stay was great although next time I will book a room with a refrigerator. My only mention would be is the valet ! The three times we left over two days I use the QR code on the little ticket they give you to request your car be pulled up and basically requested 30 minutes in advance which is not a problem whatsoever. The issue is when you get downstairs for your car it is not there and then you have to wait another 15-20 minutes. I hope they can resolve this issue. Some people may not have the...
