"Room was better than expectation. Though the room to the door seemed a bit outdated, and the refrigerator smelled like it was cleaned with bleach. Overall stay was good and the pool view was nice as well. Definitely would come back!"
Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa

"The Plaza is a beautiful Hotel; the room service food was excellent and the spa was great. It is on the water and next to cannery row and the aquarium. We loved it and will be back!!!"

"Room was mostly clean minus a few stray hairs. Staff was nice and welcoming. Room was rustic with a good feel. Loved the fireplace and shower. Bed was nice and comfortable. Was walking distance from good food."
Stargazer Hotel

"I was hesitant to stay at the Stargazer because I usually stay at Hyatt or Marriott. For a motel it was wonderful. We had everything we needed with the charm of a time period motel. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. We had a room on the 2nd floor. It had a partial ocean view! The staff was kind. We also had a handicap room on the lower level. That room had everything it needed, but it was dim. It was nice to have additional parking towards the back of the property. I'd stay there again. It was about 12 min from Carmel, 7 min to Cannery Row and 5 min to the Wharf."
