This house is in the middle of the Pyrenees and overlooking Mount Montségur, with a 13th-century Cathar fortress at its summit. It still feels mysterious, but also offers fabulous views over the often snow-covered peaks of the mountains.

It is cosy, with a cosy living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a large garden with a terrace where the views are truly breathtaking; the mountains, the wildlife passing by, the silence...it's a fantastic place!
For nature lovers, the area offers a wide range of possibilities: hiking, cycling, mountain climbing, horse riding, etc. Culture lovers will enjoy the Cathar history, which has left its traces everywhere: the castle of Puivert and of course the castle of Montségur.
There's a nice lake for the kids at Montbel , but also visit the Monday morning market at Mirepoix, which by the way is a very pretty town with beautiful half-timbered houses and a cosy centre
