"I was looking for a practical hotel to stay both for work as well to start cycling along the Rhine; Hotel Montfoort is picturesquely located in the historical Montfoort village, on walking distance of the beautiful castle. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the accommodation supplies everything you need for a pleasant stay and a good night’s sleep. Highly recommended."

"We got this hotel for a good price so no real complaints and once inside the room we were happy. There was a very comfortable king size bed, big TV with Netflix and good air con. However communal areas are really grubby, lift wasn’t working and there were quite a few ‘characters’ hanging round the lobby. The receptionist on arrival was very unfriendly."

"Great location right off the major highways in the central part of the country. So for business people with a rental car it’s perfect. Otherwise this property is very old and a bit outdated. But decent and spacious"
