"Absolutely wonderful stay! The residence is brand new, spotless and beautifully designed. The apartment was very comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything I needed. The whole place feels calm, fresh and well-maintained — you can tell a lot of care went into every detail. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful, and it’s a great base for exploring Corsica. "This is a beautifully modernised and well appointed old house in a small village in the foot hills of the mountains in northern Corsica. Chantal the owner was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Small cafe and epicerie (limited stock) close by, where the atmosphere is very convivial (Chez Margot). Be prepared to negotiate narrow, winding roads and to take your time getting anywhere. Calvi, Ile Rousse and St Florent all just over an hour away; St Antonino and other pretty villages near at hand....

"We stayed at this beautiful hotel for a week in June to explore the area of and around Calvi. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to the highway, about 7 minute walk to the old part of the city and marina, as well as hiking trails right across the street that went for miles along the coast line. I cannot say enough about the kindness and friendliness of the staff. We speak very little french and the staff was so helpful explaining customs, giving advice or recommendations. At departure we were offered the chance to store our luggage and return after check out time with the option to take a shower if needed before heading back to the airport. So kind! Our room was comfortable and had a patio with an incredible view of the light house across the bay. I would not hesitate a moment to return to this wonderful, family owned little gem!"
