Lovely 3 star hotel in a great location, just a couple blocks from Place Comedie, is a quiet oasis The entire staff couldn’t be nicer and are all patient and gracious with my attempts to speak French. The breakfast is very nice too, with great coffee, delicious small pastries and local jams and honey. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends when visiting Montpelier

This is a lovely old world property with the presents class and charm. The Chateaubriand room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Hotel clean and inviting. We were offered breakfast, but we wanted to experience the town and what it had to offer. I found being in the pedestrian area of Montpellier quite enjoyable. We found the location to restaurants, patisseries, shops, and drinking establishments perfectly suited. This was our first time in Montpellier… and we had an automobile… which can be challenging. Once we located the parking structure, there was no need to access the vehicle during our duration in town.

This is a most charming and quaint hotel, perfect for our 9 day stay in Paris. The staff were most helpful and very friendly. The hotel offers comfort and little extra benefits including a quiet inner garden also a sitting/ reading area.Definately reccomnend a stay here.

This hotel is located in a traffic-free part of the old town, very close to the Place de la Comédie, with excellent access to public transport, cafés, and shops. I would describe the hotel as quaint, reflecting its surroundings and retaining the charm of a bygone era. The room was in a similar style—spacious and comfortable, although mattresses are always a matter of personal preference. The bathroom, on the other hand, was modern, spacious, and well appointed. Led by Benjamin and Julie, all the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and, as an added benefit for us, spoke English very well. The only downside for us was the lack of any outdoor space to sit and relax. It would have been nice to enjoy a drink outside after a day of sightseeing. However, this would not prevent us from staying at the hotel again on future visits.

A wonderfully comfortable and convenient location for a visit to Montpellier. The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous, and the breakfast ample and delicious. Easy access to Place de la Comedie, a short walk to Antigone, and easy walk to many fine restaurants. An apt reflection of the qualities of the city of Montpelier.

This is a tiny hotel chosen for its outstanding location by the center of historical Montpellier. Restaurants and important sites and with very close walking distance, and the tram is also close by. The small size means amenities are few, but my room itself was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Important note: there is no elevator so one must handle stairs, but the staff readily handled taking luggage to my room. I’ll definitely come back.

We loved this quiet and quaint hotel. The original architecture is beautiful. High ceilings, wide curved staircase with wrought iron railing, beautiful wood doors, etc. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. We will be back of we are ever in Montpellier again.

i stayed here for three nights in April 2024, and would highly recommend it. It has a great location, approx' 50 yards from the main square, place de la Comedie. The hotel is compact, but very well set out... my room was small and functional, with a great size TV, and a small balcony. The staff where very polite and helpful , and the room costs where very nice.
