Great location in downtown Montreal! Located next to restaurants, shopping and the Bell Centre. Clean comfortable beds, a little dark in the rooms but overall a great place to stay. Don’t expect a large breakfast but good to grab something to take on the go. Property is a little older but I would definitely stay again. Staff were friendly and quick to help. Honestly a little gem of a hotel!

This seems to be a refurbished smallish older building. The floorboards creak a bit, but the plumbing and everything else are up to snuff. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The main appeal is the low price for the fantastic location -- a stone throw from the Art Gallery and close proximity to many upscale restaurants.

This hotel has very unique features. It’s a very artsy vibe. It has very unique furniture pieces, and one of the best showers that we’ve ever been in for a hotel. I love the layout of the room and the beds are super comfortable. It is definitely a boutique hotel vibe with a very cosy feel. In a great location in the city as well. Highly recommend.

We loved the shared spaces, which added so many opportunities for us to stretch out while at the hotel. The great table in the kitchen and "living room" were amazing. The outdoor patio area was really charming. We would definitely stay here again.

A nice little hotel in a great location. Room was clean and spacious, if a little run down (one light fixture missing, one light not working at all, TV not working). A very nice rain shower, although water pressure isn’t great. One inconvenient thing is there is no clock or way to plug in a phone near the bed (charging station available on the desk). Staff was very friendly, smooth check in and check out. Breakfast is very basic (but it’s also free!). I particularly liked the big window seat and street view.

The location is ideal for experiencing Montreal. My room the first night was very unsatisfactory. The outside door was broken, the lamp did not work, the ceiling lights did not all work and there was a large water stain on the skylight covering. I asked to be moved but the hotel was full so I stayed in that room but asked again the next morning and was able to get a different room for Night #2. It was much nicer...clean, bright, everything in working order. The staff was very nice and tried to be helpful. The breakfast is mediocre but OK. The hotel has great potential. It just needs attention and updating.

It was a pleasure to stay at Chez Swann. The suite was beautiful, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was also perfect close to everything I needed as well as near some nice restaurants and stores. If I return to Montreal, I plan to stay here again.

The location is excellent! Easy walking distance to various downtown areas. The Junior suite double queen room with skylights is marvelous. The bathroom is unbeatable with double sinks and double showers, extraordinarily spacious and comfortable shower experience. The decor is nice. The only downside is very simple breakfast. But it’s better than nothing and it’s good to give u a start. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.
