This rustic apt was clean and made a good base for lots of exploring. It is conveniently located to the metro and only a 20-40 minute walk to many restaurants, museums, & touristy areas. Gaelle was a wonderful host and very responsive to our many questions.If you plan to cook, bring a potholder & a dishtowel, as well as a hand towel and washcloths for the bathroom (bath towels and bedding were provided). The only issue we had was parking. The few on street parking spots were taken by residents who didn’t move their cars during our stay. There is a parking garage just down the road which costs 17ca every time you enter, for a maximum 24 hrs. (June 2026). Twice we were charged both to enter and exit even though the car was only there for 12 hrs. There was nobody around to answer questions or help resolve any issues. The buttons to push for help located at the exterior door and on the machines at the exit were recorded messages. The road that the apt is located on was very busy with constant traffic & sirens frequently passing during the night. There was a lot of construction around the area which might have led to higher traffic volume during our stay.
