"I highly recommend Hotel Mangart if you are visiting Bovec. The rooms were clean and very comfotable. There was a great view from the balcony. The hotel is very convenient as it is only a ten minute walk to the center of the town. My one criticism of the hotel was that the staff was not very helpful in recommending restaurants and activities."

"Everything was great except for the children running around 24x7 on the floor above us. I realize not much the hotel can do about that but it kept us awake so not relaxing. The apartment was perfect otherwise - lots of space and small kitchen, too!"

"Wonderfully welcoming small family owned and managed hotel. Gregor and his father are so friendly and helpful as are all the staff. We were given room 5 for our 3 night stay which with very large with a separate living area and balcony with a view of the mountains. Decor and furniture are fairly simply but feels quite homely and most importantly bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms, though, appear to have been recently modernised and we had a walk in shower. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Good buffet breakfast is included with cooked to order eggs, if you want them. There is on site parking both outside and in the underground garage and even a small fitness room. The location is just a 5 min walk to bars and restaurants in the small village centre. Excellent place to stay."
