Nightcap at Queens Beach Hotel

"Nicely and tastefully updated room. The shower is good. I didn't want to get out of the shower when I had one. The room is quite small with not a lot of space between the end of the bed and the desk. The mini fridge didn't have a freezer. The towel rail is at the end of the shower area and there is nowhere else to hang towels in the bathroom other than one place in front of the toilet.There is also nowhere to hang the hand towel. Overall a good place to stay for a couple of nights. We went to the pub next door for dinner but it didn't have the two different things on the menu we wanted both nights as they had run out. As good food options in Bowen are very limited, if I was to go back to Bowen and stay longer than a couple of nights, I would definitely get a place to stay that allowed for self catering. Great beach for afternoon kite surfing/foiling nearby."

"My family of Four stayed in family room, but a little to compact, 2 adults, 2 children, pram, car seat, and multiple bags and cases. No room for baby to get around, but overall clean and convenient, nice staff."
