"Great location. Cute room (one bedroom suite). We had a big issue with the smell in the room. It was horrible! The room is located on top of McDonalds and a fried chicken place. We tried open windows, closed windows, the smells were always there I told them about this. They gave us a bottle of Febreeze. I don't to breathe in chemicals. I had finished chemo the month before ( I told them this). I vomited every day because the smell was sickening."

"We came by taxi from the airport and did not have a car. The location is very convenient for walking to Old Port Montreal. The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. The beds were comfy and the temp was good. Quiet at night. "

"The check-in person was not at all friendly and we had to ask him to repeat himself a few times as he was unclear. The staff person the next morning had no recommendations for breakfast - a common question I would think! The baseboards in the rooms were very dusty especially around the beds. There was garbage both on the pool level and the terrace where there was also poop (dog I hope!) that was also smeared on the carpet just inside the door! Other than that the property was great,...

"Had a wonderful stay at Kutuma. Very small hotel, only 8 rooms. But they are beautiful. So amazingly well appointed. Large, functional kitchen, great bathroom including jacuzzi, lots of little touches. Also love the fact that they have individual shampoo and bath gel bottles rather than the gross yuck stuff. Service is great , we were even offered tea and coffee at check in. Location is excellent, next to the subway and Latin quarter. This is a great little gem. Will definitely return"

"The room was rather small with no comfortable chairs to sit in. The hotel was clean and modern. Checkin was quick. Parking was extra. The restaurant breakfast was quite nice, enjoyed it. However, no cream for the coffee, only milk...a faux pas in our books! Great location, close to Old Montreal. Overall we did enjoy our stay, it just wasn't a $350 night kinda room, was expecting more. "
