Mount Vernon Inn- Great Stay!

This local Inn was very cute, cozy and incredibly welcoming. We didn't really know what to expect and were so pleased when we arrived! Everyone was so kind, helpful, and provider absolutely the best service. I travel frequently for work- this was a personal trip for a friend's wedding and the best stay experience I've had in a long time! Definitely recommend!!

Breakfast was wonderful in taste and service. The dining room was beautifully decorated for the season; makes me want to come back in other seasons to see what they will look like. The staff was definitely the shining star of this establishment. They went above and beyond without me even asking for a thing. The room were large, but the toilet location in my room was very oddly located. It was tucked 90 degrees off from the sink so that when you sat down on it, you could rest your arms on the side of the sink. Wasn't a problem for me, but a larger guest might have difficulties. Nothing bad, just something to note. Everything was clean, the garden courtyard was pleasant and the outdoor chairs and tables were appreciated.

Quiet and quaint property just outside of downtown Mount Vernon (can walk to the square-a few blocks).. Courtyard is nice. Made to order breakfast was very nice. Check in was a breeze. Staff was very friendly. Can be a romantic getaway.

Wonderful!

Everything was wonderful. I was just passing through town and so glad this is where I stayed. It was clean, comfortable and had a nice charm about it. The staff was super friendly. The little garden area outside was beautiful and the free breakfast was delicious and filling. I plan to make a special weekend trip here sometime soon when I need to just disconnect and spend a peaceful weekend alone away from the hustle and bustle of city life!
