"Room was very clean and comfortable. Lots of lighting, desk to work on and comfy. Bed was hard but the office gave me a comforter that softened it up and slept well. Nice touches such as a clock, small desk lamp, big vanity. Air conditioning worked well and didn’t blow on the bed like some other hotels."

"The place has a lovely view of the city lights and is on a beautiful hillside. It's quiet and peaceful with easy access to downtown Los Gatos. Los Gatos is a quaint small town set in the hillside of the Santa Cruz Mtns. 30 min drive in either direction gets you to the heart of Silicon Valley or the coastline beaches of Santa Cruz. The sunrise out the windows is gorgeous. The queen size bed was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to stock the kitchen with a few more pans for cooking and some storage containers for leftovers. I prefer to cook most of my meals, but the proximity to wonderful restaurants means you don't need to. I recommend Oak and Rye for the best pizza around. Restaurant Asa has a great menu of a variety of food. And the best sushi is Shiroi ( sp?) that is down Los Gatos Blvd in the center with Garret Station. "

"Property is starting to show age and could use some refreshing of the furniture. Specifically, the desk chairs and toilet seat. Other than that, it was good and worth the cost."

"What a beautiful property! So enjoyed it all but especially the fireplace, sauna and inviting back patio. It was fun taking my morning walks to the Hakone Gardens, enjoying the beautiful Saratoga Creek and quaint downtown area along the route. The hosts were accommodating and spoiled us! I look forward to returning!"
