They were still kind and polite when I checked out late, after remembering the wrong check out time. I was busy and distracted by the wedding hustle and bustle that I was attending, forgetting everything else. The staff was friendly, treated me with respect and generosity with what could have been a huge issue but went smoothly despite myself. I sure appreciated it!"

"The resort is in a beautiful setting and away from the Columbia River tourist spots but still easy to access although secluded. The pool, spa, and golf course are the main activities there. Our room was quite comfortable but the building we were in didn't have elevators and we were not on the ground floor. I was not aware until we checked in that some of the buildings didn't have elevators."

"Room was mostly clean, floors had been quickly cleaned. Bed was pretty comfortable, but on a squeaky metal frame that made noise when one of us moved in bed. We are not huge people, I’m 100lbs and my husband is about 200lbs. There was not a complimentary breakfast like described in hotel website, but they had a cafe that looked subpar and kind of pricey, highly recommend The Riv Cafe. We did have dinner at The Portage Grill on site. We really enjoyed our meals, the restaurant was busy but staff was attentive. Our room was quiet, overall comfortable, I liked the set up of the hotel. I’d stay here again."
