"This was a very modern, chic and trendy hotel. Very clean and the location was great. We were traveling with our family and the bathroom was a little challenging because there are no doors to the bathroom or shower. The shower drain clogged, and because there is no lip in the shower, water went all over the bathroom (but the staff cleaned it up quickly). I think this was the market rate for other hotels in Fussen, but it was expensive, and breakfast and parking wasn’t included. Maybe just not the right fit for our family, but a couple looking for a fun getaway it would be awesome."

"Great hotel - bike hire - great choice at breakfast including eggs cooked whichever way you like, brought to your table. Room clean. No kettle etc but they were available to take to your room from a unit on first floor. Friendly staff - ate at night in restaurant - food very good. 10min bike ride into Fussen centre or about 20 min walk. Cycling very popular with separate bike paths. Parking was OK but when hotel busy not enough bays but can park alongside of building. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"Amazing location, the food at the restaurant is incredible, the breakfast buffet is a great value for a large selection of food. BUT not all of the rooms have A/C, and if you are going in the summer, you MUST make sure that you book a room with A/C. The hotel lent us a fan to use in our room but honestly it didn’t help. We were unbearably hot in our room. We slept with the windows wide open and it was noisy out on the street late into the night, and then started again at 5am. We barely slept during our 4 nights there. But if you can lock in a room with A/C, this is a great hotel."

"The hotel was in an excellent location and the staff, particularly Dami (?), was very kind and helpful. The breakfast offerings were unbelievable--definitely take advantage of that. Also, make sure to take a bike to the castle. It's a lovely bike ride and easier to manage. Just really pay attention to the warnings to get there 1.5-2 hours in advance. The grounds were well kept and had a lovely view of the castle. The only thing that was a bit hard to figure out were the spa facilities and how to use them. An orientation could be helpful."
Villa Ludwig Suite Hotel & Chalet

"The location was perfectly located for walking to & from both castles. I’m 72 and had no issues walking, although it is uphill. I had no trekking poles and rested as needed. Our room was #103 and the room had an acceptable view of the bigger castle (or as we called it, Castle N) The free breakfast was great and also had a view. What was exceptional was the helpful guide to the area in English. The front desk made reservations for dinner. The down side: restaurant’s close around 8 pm so plan accordingly. I paid for the city tax and the snacks eaten the night before we left. I could not get a free bus pass until we turned in the room key and since we had to catch the early train, when I asked for the pass at 7:00 a.m. the people (breakfast helpers) had no idea that I had already paid and no idea where the bus passes were. So, we had to pay for 3 people, about 9 euros. So if this scenario fits you, make sure the receptionist leaves the bus passes for you to get the next morning. We were allowed to breakfast early which was very kindly of them."

"Fijne vakantiewoning in een prachtige omgeving! De woning was heel erg proper met toegang tot de tuin met een prachtig uitzicht op de Tegelberg. Het had alle luxe voorhanden, smart tv, bluetooth radio, een goed uitgeruste en moderne keuken met allerhande keukengerei ter beschikking, een mooie hedendaagse badkamer, slaapkamers heel erg net met comfortabele bedden en kasten om kledij op te bergen. We hadden ook een heel erg goede en vriendelijke contact met de verhuurder/ eigenares die ons ten alle tijden op weg hielp met verder vragen en er lag ook een map met uitgebreide instructies of uitleg van de te gebruiken materialen of van de woning. In het stadje Schwangau, vlak daarbij had je verschillende eetgelegenheden en of winkeltjes en een bakker. Iets verder op had je dan Füssen, een grotere stad met charmante winkelstraten. In de streek was er veel aanbod van verschillende activiteiten die je gemakkelijk online kon terugvinden maar ook lagen er veel folders in de vakantiewoning, een pluspunt. Bij de woning was er ook een sauna ter beschikking, wijzelf hebben daar geen gebruik van gemaakt. Het was voor ons gezin een aangename, ontspannende verblijf, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!"

"Wonderful, well-equipped apartment in a beautiful setting. The host provided all information in a timely manner, including ideas for activities, and was welcoming. The location was great for visits to the castles and numerous hiking trails. Highly recommended!"
