"We actually had a problem with our Hotels.com booking, but the owners of the property were very kind and accommodating, turning what could have been a very stressful situation into a lovely stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and well kept, and the property and pool were well maintained. "It was great once I actually got the apartment I had booked. They tried to fob me off with a much smaller room with no kitchen or washing machine. I decided to complain so actually got the apartment about 2pm the next day. "The resort outdoor area need better lighting at night, it is dangerous for the pedestrian walking to the restaurants. We are English speaking and found it difficult to communicate especially in the restaurants but we managed. Staff were very pleasant. The room was very well appointed including the amenities. Restaurant food prices were incredibly expensive for the quality of food. The spa experience was excellent."

"My family and I have just returned home after having had a wonderful week at this resort. The resort was at full capacity throughout our stay, and yet the level of service was always maintained at a very high standard. Food and beverage was provided plentifully throughout the day and the selection of restaurants and food locations was excellent as was the variation in menus. The swimming pool looked very nice but we never used it as the beachside facilities were simply superb. The resort has its own beach from which you have to step into from the decking and every day was beautiful there. Watching the sunset from the beach deck (see photo) was simply enchanting also. Location-wise, the resort is situated very close to the stunning Bodrum Marina and Old Town and is only a 5-minute taxi journey and the hotel offers beautiful views over the bays and the adjacent Aegean Sea islands. As mentioned before, we were very impressed with all the staff at the resort, all of whom are multi-lingual. But I must make particular mention of Yusuf at Reception, Ugur the Entertainment Manager but especially Hasan the Guest Services Manager who always made us feel very welcome and was generous in his offerings to make our stay as special as possible. This was one of our best ever family vacations and, thanks to Hasan and to all the staff there, the Başka Resort Hotel is one we definitely look forward to returning to."

"I’ve stayed at quite a few really good hotels, so I can be a bit picky, but I honestly really enjoyed this place. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was great. Everything was well taken care of. Honestly, I think this hotel is underrated and deserves more attention. I’d definitely stay here again."
