Super nice clean room with amenities and bottled drinking water. Short easy walk to Sendlinger Tor station. The common lounge on the ground floor was tastefully decorated for Christmas and looked charming and welcoming.

Hotel Du Train was an awesome home base for my time in Munich. The location couldn’t be better — just a short, easy walk to Marienplatz, which made exploring the city center a breeze. There are tons of food options all around the hotel. Check in and Check out was quick and easy. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and has a fun, boutique vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were surprisingly quiet considering how close you are to all the action.

We didn’t opt for breakfast so I can’t speak to that question. But, the front desk and staff here were so kind and the hotel is adorable. My son said it was the coolest hotel he’s ever stayed in. I liked the residential feel of the street although it was close to everything! We will stay again!

The room was very clean. Breakfast was great. No issues with service, everyone was very considerate. As a tall guy the deep and long bath was very much appreciated after all the walking. First time I have been able to str tch my legs out on a bath fully in years.

This is a lovely hotel close to the central station and connected to the old town by a pedestrian street. The sleeper car decor was charming and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

The young man at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, yet a bit small. I didn't get the breakfast because it was almost $20, which is high.

Fun and quirky Munich hotel

This hotel has a very cute train theme. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The area right outside the hotel seems to be a party area, and was very loud. The breakfast was nice but pretty expensive for what was on offer. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, but if youre on a budget, just walk to one of the many locsl places for breakfast.

This is a very cute hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is located just out side the old town of Munich so it's perfect, close but not so close you have to deal with the noise and crowds.

Perfect location

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights during oktoberfest. Walking distance to the central train station, the oktoberfest area and old town is just a couple of minutes away. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice and helpful.

Loved it!

The hotel is very quaint and in a great location. I especially loved the elevator. The staff was excellent! My only complaint with my stay was that there was no air conditioning and the window only opened a crack. Because it was summer, it was stifling hot.

Everything was perfect! Staff very friendly and helpful and the room was very quaint and clean. Loved the personal extra touches like the Oktoberfest heart cookies on our pillows. Will definitely recommend to others and return if I get the chance.
