Downtown Cottage/Harbor Cottage - This charming town cottage provides a bright, one-floor, Air Conditioned, accommodation. Two guest bedrooms with luxurious beds and bedding to assure a good nights sleep! One double size and one day bed with pull out trundle, will sleep up to 4 guests comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen with a Lake Superior view, dish washer, beautiful dinner ware, dining area, a cozy living room with comfortable furnishings. Walk to Bayshore Park and enjoy the beach and water, watch the boats, shop the farmer's market for fresh produce and baked breads for your meals or enjoy the pizza made to order by the local ladies, in the wood fired oven. The Falling Rock cafe is just a block away for fresh coffee, hand dipped ice cream, friendship, old books and local entertainment. Munising is full of local artists who display their talents all around town during the summer. Amenities include TV with streaming channels wifi internet service, gas grill, A/C

The cottage will be immaculately clean upon your arrival. The cottage has a 'Pottery Barn-like style, with its' tasteful furnishings and interior decorations, which makes it irresistably inviting.

We have limited parking here. We can park two vehicles max, no trailers or snowmobiles.

Playing in the Snow!

We visited Munising to snowshoe and ski at Pictured Rocks National Park and Valley Spur . Perfect pristine snow! Hope to be back soon if it doesn’t snow enough in Wisconsin. Loved both coffeeshops the Gallery and Falling Rock and By George Brewery. People were welcoming and friendly . We love this area . We have visited several times inn Winter and Summer

Perfect Little Cottage

The cottage was spotlessly clean and well stocked. Location was central to not only restaurants and grocery stores, but most importantly to the many natural features and attractions of the Pictured Rocks area. Being able to bring our dogs was an added bonus! Working with Lisa was a pleasure, as was very responsive to all our inquiries.

Michigan Upper Peninsula trip

The cottage was in great location in Munising. Very close to access the Pictured Rocks Tour boat. We chose to visit the waterfalls in the area/other towns and this was great location to drive to those locations. Cottage was very clean, stocked with kitchen tool/appliance essentials (and then some), etc. Nice outdoor seating area with gas grill and firepit - with beautiful view of bay. Even though located downtown Munising, we found the location was quiet in evening.

Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient

This property exceeded our expectations. Very tastefully decorated and thoughtfully furnished, this cottage was very comfortable and an easy base camp for our sight seeing activities. Everything we hoped to explore was close by. Communication with property management was always prompt and helpful, if needed. We give highest kudos for cleanliness. Not even a small problem for us, but others should be aware that the bedroom is small and that the lake view is limited. Note that neither of these stopped us from being extremely please with our stay in this very pleasant neighborhood cottage. We unreservedly give this place our highest recommendation.

Downtown Cottage

Downtown Cottage was everything we needed. It is so much cuter in person. The pictures don’t do it justice. We travel with 2 huskies, and we are always so grateful to find accommodations that take larger dogs. We only used one bed, but it was incredibly comfortable and the linens are top rate; on par with any five star hotel. The appliances are modern and nice, and though we didn’t do much cooking, every modern convenience was available. The location is great! They are right down the street from Pictured Rocks Cruises and within a short drive of many waterfalls and scenic locations. We will definitely visit again!

Cute, cozy cottage

The cottage was very clean, nicely decorated and stocked with everything we needed. It is small but cozy. There were 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 teens. The living room was a bit tight, but it was fine for us. We were out exploring during most of the day and had plenty of room to relax in the evening. It's in a great location for day trips to Marquette and Tahquamenon. Of course, there is plenty to do right in Munising as well. The host was attentive but not intrusive. She checked on us once by text after we arrived to see if everything was as expected then again when we were checking out. It was a very nice experience in every way.

Excellent location in downtown Munising, within walking distance to everything. Small cozy cottage, meticulously maintained. Very clean and everything looks like new or recently painted/ restored. The only suggestion would be to provide some storage space. There’s one clothes closet in the bedroom. The other bedroom has no closet. All other storage spaces, a chest of drawers in the living room, etc. are all filled with cleaning supplies and towels, bed sheets, etc. So basically one is living out of the suitcase, at a price of a high- end hotel. Same for the bathroom- no place to put one’s stuff. Replacing the large mirror wit a cabinet behind the mirror would help. A pull-out clothes line to dry swimsuits would be nice, too.

Cozy and comfy in an excellent location

The property is easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the harbor. There was ample parking. The door and lock are secure. Decor is cozy with a small living room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. The beds and linens were very supportive and comfortable. To me, a comfortable bed is the most important part of a good VRBO, and these were great!The bedroom and bathroom doors are louvered, I presume for circulation. They’re fine for normal privacy concerns, but if you need true isolation, this might be an issue for you. It was not a problem for us at all. There are no laundry facilities, but there is a dishwasher, and there’s a nice laundromat less than a mile away. Everything was clean and in good repair. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you, Lisa! We’d definitely stay here again if we were ever back in the area.

Perfect location for exploring Pictured Rocks

My husband and 12 year old daughter stayed there for 3 nights while we explored Pictured Rocks. This is definitely a crash pad and worked well for getting a quick breakfast before going exploring.

Cute Cottage in Perfect Location

This cottage was perfect for me, my daughter and her dog. We had a great time, the house is well appointed and the location was perfect for us. We walked to our ride on the Pictured Rocks Boat Cruise and to restaurants. There are grocery stores in short driving distance. We highly recommend! Be advised that there is no washer/dryer (as advertised) and there are no laundromats nearby.
