Amazing

Had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the beautiful views from deck! Lots of nice rides and things to do in area. Will definitely stay again when in area. Very clean comfortable place.

Superior accommodation with excellent view

Spacious and clean log "cabin" tastefully decorated with the bonus of fantastic views of the mountains from a huge wraparound porch. All the amenities were available. We had a restful and memorable stay and will definitely come again if we can find an open date.

The view was Awesome!!

Our family of 8 stayed here during spring break! The house is beautiful and well decorated! Beautiful views! The kids enjoyed the porch and playing the games! Thank you for letting us staying in your beautiful home!

Great View!

The property was very clean. The view was fantastic. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the colors of the scenery change throughout the day and evening as the sun rose and set.

We travelled to Murphy for a class at the folk school. The property was a welcome respite from hard work each day. It was comfortable and the deck is wonderful

Beautiful property and stunning views

Absolutely fantastic property in Murphy. The house was immaculate and the view can't be beat. The huge porch overlooking the mountains was perfection. Last minute booking when our beach trip was cancelled due to a hurricane. Property managers were quick and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome views, relaxing stay in a well equipped cabin!

We had such as amazing stay at Brasstown Bald! It was perfect for my family of 4 and grandma. The cabin had everything we needed (we cooked nearly every meal at "home") and we really enjoyed sitting on the large porch each morning with coffee and evening with drinks to watch the sky, clouds and mountains! The beds were so comfy, ample living room and dining room seating. It was an easy drive to town and while we did enjoy a few day trips to nearby state parks, we were just as happy to stay at the cabin and enjoy the peace and tranquility! Overall amazing and hope to come back!!! Thank you!

New Years Eve at the Cabin

The cabin was cozy and as described. It was clean and stocked with most of the things we needed. We did have trouble starting the grill and there was no wood for fire pit. The only major issue we had was that there an abundance of stinkbugs inside the cabin which were there when we arrived and throughout our while stay. Otherwise our stay was wonderful and we had a great time.

Great cabin get away

We saw deer every day The only negative would be the road is going way up and we had a 4wheel drive. I don't know if a small car would do as well. I didn't drive in to town alone because I couldn't see well enough over the front hood . Fabolous week . Comfortable and has everything you could need or want.

Nice place! Great view!

Very nice and clean. Close to town. You do need to stop by the rental agency to get access, which is unusual, but it was on our way. We generally do not book cabins that are very close to others, however, it was no bother. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views, amazing sunsets. Had everything you need to be comfortable, except bath soap (lol), which was our mistake for forgetting. Beds and linens were more comfortable than most. You will not want to leave the beautiful covered porch with the amazing mountain breeze. Highly suggest.

Location and view are amazing!

The cabin was exactly as in the pictures. Well stocked and everything worked as it should. The cabin was at the very top of the mountain and had amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Beds were very comfortable and the linens were extremely comfortable as well. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for those looking for relaxation and the view. We were not using the loft but if we had it would have been an issue as it was way too hot. We opened the window but when you had the fireplace on it made the loft unbearable. I would suggest an exhaust fan be installed. Other than that it is perfect!

Two Words: The. Porch.

We had a rough start, but a great stay. What a great place to stay - short or long term! The view off the porch is stunning! Peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable. Kitchen is well appointed & had everything we needed. The whole place could use a deep nooks & crannies cleaning, but it’s fine. Complaint: The check in directions we received prior to our stay did not include the Key Code for the front door. We did not realize this until after business hours on Friday. Contacting the property management company through the VRBO portal did not help at first. There was an after hours number, but that seemed to connect to an interior decorating office so I did not leave a message at first, assuming there has been a mistake. All of this delayed us leaving FL as we did not want to get to NC and not have a way into the property. Eventually I left a message with the interior decorator who was able to get us the Key Code. She (Tiffany) was extremely prompt, helpful, and friendly… the only one from Appalachian Land that I felt was reliable and she wasn’t really with them. She went out of her way to help us - my ch more than the company did. I hope they know that she’s the only reason I’d be willing to deal with them again. We were refunded 1 night, but only through Tiffany’s efforts. She’s golden in our books. Property Suggestion: Several windows do not stay open by themselves. A few strong dowels would be very useful to prop open windows during nice weather.

Wonderful beautiful Mountain stay

We loved everything about our stay - the view was magnificent and the beds slept wonderful! Upstairs was really warm compared to downstairs- which my husband and I didn’t mind the upstairs. Wished the toilets had been taller. And it would have really added to the stay if the cabin had been decorated for the Christmas season…but overall it was wonderful. We loved it and hope to stay again in the future ❣️ Deb and family

Weekend in the mountains

This cabin had amazing views. The outdoor space was phenomenal. Easy access to the cabin and very close to town. I gave cleanliness 3 stars because the cabin needed some severe dusting and new linens. This is an amazing property just needs some refreshing.

Wonderful!

Came up with family. Loved the cabin! It was very nice with an awesome view. We saw so many deer around the property which we loved. Spent most of the time on the back deck, it was so beautiful back there
