Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Elevator did not work the first two days we were there. Since we were on the third floor it took 7+ trips up stairs to get car unloaded. We left on Wednesday because of hurricane, waste of money on rent.

If I could change one thing it would that the walkway to the beach was longer but I would definitely stay again.

The television not having streaming capabilities, and the bars of soap. The rental site had noted 2 bars of soap for the stay. I brought extra, thank goodness, One small round bar for each bath for 7 days to include handwashing and bathing. Overall, EXCELENT STAY!I will be back!

Coming in great area for W&D easy to drop offf towels or shoes. Very nice kitchen, great having a pantry! Plenty of recline furniture- comfortable for everyone. Mary Black couldn’t have been nicer and gave good information. Exactly who you want to welcome you to your long awaited vacation.

Unit 32 is very nice with comfortable beds, updated kitchen and good washer/dryer. The location couldn't be better. This section of beach rivals any other beaches I've been to in the U.S.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I liked the location, the access to the stairs that go to the pool from the balcony. The screened in balcony was definitely a plus. There were, however, some very basic things that need to be addressed such as carpet stains as well as stains on the curtains. The bathroom fans were super dusty.We had a really hard time getting the doors to lock and unlock when using the key to the condo. There’s a mattress pad on the bed in the master and it kept sliding down and creating a huge gap at the head of the bed.

The layout is spacious and comfortable. The furniture is worn and needs some updating. The kitchen is nice but needs new small appliances... toaster and blender need replacing.Mary Black at Garden City is awesome. She is friendly and makes your stay feel like you are family. I recommend renting from Garden City and Compass Rose.

The condo was very clean and well appointed looking just as presented in the pictures. The view from the balcony was incredible and a significant draw to this particular unit by it being on the third floor. The elevator made the unloading and loading activity much quicker and easier on the back! We would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a comfortable and quiet week at the beach. Hope to enjoy this property in the future.

This year we needed to cancel our reservation 6 days into our 2 month trip. Everyone at Garden City Reality was extremely helpful, especially Mary Black. Mary took our calls, responded in a thoughtful manner and assisted us with our trip insurance contacts. Any time we have needed someone from Garden City Reality to help in any way, they are always there!

Trip cut short

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice, spacious and clean! It was very comfortable and nicely decorated! Location was perfect!! The only complaint was the pots and pans were pretty gross.The grounds were nice except the pool. It looked pretty green and gross to swim in!! Not sure why it was not cleaned!We went doing the week of Hurricane Dorian so we enjoyed the condo for only 1 night because we got a mandatory evaluation. The rental company kept us up-to-date with what was going on very well. We received an email telling us they will be visiting the condos to ensure they were vacated. We did not have an option to stay, so leaving was not a choice made by us. We did not purchase vacation insurance, but ran into many families that were in the same boat without insurance but were offered full reimbursement for remaining days of their stay! Garden City Reality finally sent me an email on September 20 (almost 3 weeks after leaving), offering us to come back for 5 days by the end of the year or a $275 reimbursement (not even 50% of the remaining days). They gave me 72 hours to respond after I waited 3 weeks for a response!! Why not offer the days next year where our kids can actually play in the ocean! There isn’t much to do with kids this late in the season especially with one in school! The condo owner gave us the reimbursement but the rental company can also reimburse some of their $180 in “fees”. I expressed my dissatisfaction but I never heard back. They obviously don’t care about the safety of their guests during a time of crisis nor the satisfaction of a loyal customer. I wouldn’t rent from them again!

The screened in porch was a plus since we had a toddler and being on the third floor gives you a great view of the ocean. Pool was very nice with plenty of lounge chairs. Already booked for next year.
