The room was nice and big. Easy check in and out. They did not give advance notice about breakfast not being served bc of that area being closed down to hold reams of new carpet. So that was an added cost to our budget.
They were in the middle of remodeling and the place was not clean, they didn’t have the amenities that were listed on the property. The location was wonderful and obviously the price was good. Just had higher expectations for the brand.
The hotel was convenient to Garden City beach and was pet friendly, overall a good stay. They could do a better job cleaning up the elevators and carpet stains outside the elevator. Turn on the TV with News channel in the breakfast dining room.

The hotel needs a lot of repairs, but the price is reasonable. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good. I took one star off mainly because the rude attitude
We loved the location, breakfast bar, cleanliness of our room and comfortable beds. But the 5th floor hallway carpet, 1st floor dining chairs and elevator were filthy.
Please place a note in your listing that the hotel was under renovation.
Placed a reservation, checked into the room, received the keys and then was informed about the renovation?
This way I could make the decision about whether to stay there
And the curtain in the room, on the first floor, was not made so you could close it.
only the shear could be pulled to.
I could understand this on any floor other that street level?

Be warned....only one elevator for the entire hotel....they advertise "full hot breakfast"....go next door to Cracker Barrel!! Plumbing in bathroom shower was about to fall out of the wall!

This was an average hotel, decent breakfast, convenient to the places we wanted to visit. However, it is in need of a renovation. The carpets are dirty, the upholstery is stained, but the beds were comfortable and the staff did a good job.
I chose this hotel for the free breakfast and the indoor pool. I have stayed here before when it was in better shape. Pool was closed. Breakfast was unavailable because of well needed renovations. The room was clean was the biggest positive. This location needs a face lift. For the same cost, we could've stayed ocean front with a different chain.
Hallways are filthy, elevator dirty, not enough towels and washclothes for 2 guests for 2 nights, a dead outlet in the bathroom. I've had good luck with this chain in the past but will be skipping this location in the future.

The hotel was in a perfect location for TPC Myrtle Beach golf course and the Marsh Walk.
The room felt dampish and we did have to kill a cockroach.
Carpets in hallway and furniture in dining room looked filthy. Room was okay, but carpet was musty and AC smelled stale like smoke. Check in and out was fine and patrons were nice. Food was good.

Started out Great . The room was neglected , the first 3 days
days No one checked the room had to ask for fresh towels, 2 dayes later asked if they could change the bed linen , no one came. The TV stopped working, then when it came on only able to get 4 channels, reported it , the clerk said that she check it but it didn't work. Both desk clerks was not very pleasant. The bed was finally changed on the 5th day.. nothing was done after that the elevator smelled like mold, i was ther 7 days. I appreciate that it was convenient.

The rooms could be upgraded a little. Our tv remote didnt work, the a/c was loud. We had to get our own towels everyday. The room was never refreshed. The beds were comfortable. Nice breakfast.
Where do I begin….??? Upon entering the lobby we were met with “Out of Order” signs for pretty much everything. From the continental breakfast, to the lobby restrooms, parking and other common areas. We were informed that there are renovations which caused the shutdown of these basic amenities. The hotel’s website didn’t indicate that they were going through any renovations.
When I asked about the breakfast options I was met with a “No, we don’t have it available “ No apologies for the inconvenience, lack of transparency on their website. The front desk staff was not pleasant or inviting at all, borderline rude.
After entering my hotel room I was met with an unmade bed, tv on, and personal items in the room, basically it was occupied by another guest.
When I returned to the front desk and informed them of this, I was greeted with questions. Umm… excuse me but can I get a room that’s unoccupied and clean??
They assigned us a new room, but again the amenities were not there. The in-room spa bathtub didn’t have running water, there was hair and fur all over the sofa. Only one lightbulb working in all the of the light fixtures.
