Parking was easy, all the areas we wanted to go to were walkable distance. I had an incident with another guest being persistent knocking on my door and staff took care of situation in a timely manner and made the situation right for me.

We stayed in room 205 was right over the Merrill sign and view of the river wasn't great. Not the greatest room. I would ask for a room on 3rd floor or higher. Otherwise the room and hotel is great and the staff was amazing. The food was wonderful. The pool and workout area was fantastic.

Great Experience

We’ve stayed here twice now and it’s been a great experience both times. The rooms are clean, as is the rest of the hotel, and the staff is friendly and professional too. I recommend getting a room with the river view!

This is a charming hotel right on the Mississippi River. This beautifully decorated, clean, bright hotel is staffed by pleasant and helpful staff. We loved walking around the area seeing fun bars and restaurants, cute shops, and the largest watermelon. The food at their restaurant was priced well and delicious. We highly recommend!!

The staff was pretty good except for one sarcastic waitress. A hotel's staff is only as good as its weakest link and why would the most expensive hotel in town employ someone unable or unwilling to work with all types of guests?

The room was clean, the property is very modern and elegant. However we had requested a river view, and we got an alley view with notification. The windows of the building across the alley were so close that we kept our windows closed the whole time. We didn’t feel comfortable with having strangers look into our window. Plus, the view was very unpleasant. I really was looking forward to the river view, and just wish we would have been informed. I would stay here again but ai would not pay extra for the river view
