"it's an old hotel. everything is old fashion while that's probably for all hotels in Venice. The location is good, right next to the Rialto bridge. however, it's so crowded day and night. so many boats stop and leave....so you can't really open the window for fresh air....The breakfast is minimum. one good thing is they do have American style shower with curtain!!!! thanks god. i don't understand why most of Europe hotels has only half glass in the bath. However, there are still no window screen, so bugs can come in your room. imaging in summer time."

"Ideal location if you want to be close to the train station. Highly recommend a grand canal view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great restaurants and shops in short walking distance."

"Front desk was very helpful getting us to Venice. And making sure we knew how to get home. This place is a gem if you don’t want to worry about water taxis the day of your flight. Taxis run 35-50 euros to go to Venice drop off depending on if they are waiting or coming from somewhere to pick you up. "

"Hotel staff was very helpful before arrival in helping us figure out how to get to and from the hotel. The hotel is a comfortable, clean place to stay very near San Marco Square."

"Hotel room with a wonderful view! We appreciated the location very much. The room was clean and the hotel property was very nice and sweet. Just a few feet away from the Vaporetto into Venice. We enjoyed being away from the big crowds and the quiet peacefulness of Murano in the evenings. I would definitely stay here again if I return. "

"Only stayed fo the evening. Staff when are arrived was so sweet and very kind. She helped us figure out the bus system to Venice. We left very early next morning so only spent and evening an the morning staff (gentleman) was also very very helpful and kind. The building was a bit disappointing for a BW. It really needed an update. Carpets didn’t feel clean. Light in bathroom didn’t work. Extr pillows in the cupboard were not clean. The outlet by the bed didn’t work appeared broken. Over all it was okay for a one night quick stay but was happy that was all. Needs renovations. Also traffic on the road was noisy all night long. "

"Great hotel ideally situated to explore Murano and beyond with good links to Venice and surrounding islands only a short walk away. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are of a high standard and the bed is made daily along with a fresh supply of towels. We had a lagoon view and the gentle lapping of the water and views across the lagoon were a welcome sight each morning. Breakfast was plentiful. Fresh fruit, cereal, meats and cheeses as well as a hot selection of bacon, eggs and mini sausages. The waiting staff are lovely and happy to accommodate and hot drink requests. There is a rooftop terrace which is nice to relax in after a day of walking and this overlooks the lagoon too. All in all a great hotel that comes recommended. "
