"Although we only had one night, it was New Year's Eve. The fireworks and party were just outside the hotel, but it was still nice and quiet in the room. Great location for everything walkable, including a great walking path on top of the old city wall. Great food options close any time of day."

Having the delicious breakfast every morning was wonderful. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect, with every thing worth seeing within easy walking distance. There is nothing else that you could ask for. I will definitely be back again…"

"Very spacious room and bathroom, very clean and very quiet. The room had an A/C unit and this was the heater too. There was a communal kitchen free to use which had coffee machine and hot water for making a tea and there was a fridge in there. The rooms are on the third floor and the rear of the property overlooks the old amphitheater which is now a square with a few restaurants. There are a number of shops and other places to eat within a very short walk. The bus station was a comfortable 15 min walk and the train station is around 20mins. It was also only 10mins walk to get to the city walls for a walk around over the city. The property is very centrally located and the host was very pleasant and very welcoming including messaging us beforehand to make arrangements. A great 1 night stay in a fabulous small walled city and lovely accommodation. A little gem"

"Everything was perfect. We were met at a piazza near the apartment by Isabella and escorted to the property. She helped us bring our luggage up the stairs and showed us how everything worked. A bottle of wine was waiting for us. Everything was very clean and the layout was great. The apartment is very spacious and suited our needs. The apartment is located near the wall that encircles the city center and it was delightful to stroll along the top of the wall in the evening. It is also close to coffee and wine bars and especially, great restaurants. Gianluca is a wonderful host and did everything to make our stay an exceptional experience. We had planned to stay at Apartment Via Fillungo several years ago but we had to cancel because of Covid. We are so pleased to finally come to Lucca and stay with Gianluca."

"We left the train station in Lucca, put in the address of La Luna and had a wonderful short walk, less than a mile into the town of Lucca and to the Hotel La Luna. We were greeted by hotel staff who quickly got us into our rooms, two couples-two rooms. The rooms were nice and would be considered average. The highlight of the hotel is the morning breakfast (included in the fee), an attached bar and lounge and directly across the street, about 60 feet, a very nice restaurant. Please note that if you have difficulty with stairs, it seems all the rooms were above the main floor and carrying suit cases or walkers could be a problem. The hotel is in the center of town and is very accessible to everything Lucca has to offer. We did find our room was overlooking the restaurant and trying to get to sleep before the restaurant was closed created some difficulty. If we stay there again, we would ask for a room away from the street. "
