For your beach days, we’ve got you covered with premium beach chairs and towels—all ready for you, so you can pack light and relax more. And no need to worry about weather interruptions—a whole-home generator ensures your stay remains uninterrupted and comfortable.

THE SETTING
The pristine shores of Lake Michigan. Sunshine, soft sand, warm air, the light droning sound of boats on the water. You enjoyed swimming, boating, bicycling, reading, walking the dog, the amusement park or just relaxing earlier that day. You're sitting on your provided beach chair watching the magnificent sunset with your beverage of choice. You start to smell a smoky aroma, but you cannot tell if it is the grill or a bonfire on top of the bluff; to your delight it is both! After you enjoy some time by the fire, playing board games, or watching a movie you fall into your comfortable bed. You smile as you sleep knowing tomorrow is another lake day.

OUR PROPERTY
Everything you need for the perfect vacation on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Private & newly renovated two bedroom cottage on Lake Michigan in between North Muskegon and Whitehall. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, and the smaller bedroom has bunk beds. The sofa in the living room converts to a full size bed.
Cottage is fully furnished, with all the ammenities you will ever need to cook a meal, make your morning coffee, grill out, sleep well (linens), and enjoy the beach (towels and beach chairs)! Board games, Cable TV, and books are provided as well.
For those hot summer days we have central Air Conditioning! Make sure your vacation goes off without a hitch, we have a generator incase a thunder storm knocks out the power!

THE AREA
We are just minutes away from Whitehall, which offers quaint shopping, an extensive bicycle trail, and many dining choices. We are walking distance to the Red Rooster Tavern, and also just a short distance from Michigan's Adventure amusement park, and Whitehall Lighthouse and Museum, Muskegon State Park and Winter Sports Complex. And of course right on the Lake!

The location was perfect as well as the house! We enjoyed the cute little ice cream shop down the road. Lots of games for the kids and a bonfire overlooking Lake Michigan! Only “needs improvement” is the master bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it was fine!

Cozy Beach Stay

The cottage was clean and very well organized, with everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect! The beautiful sandy beach was right down the stairs! We enjoyed long walks on the beach and watching the sunset from the beach on warm days, or from the living room on cooler days!

Fall Break getaway

This cottage was perfect for our stay. Beautiful place with great backyard, fire pit, beach access, loved spending time there as well as visiting nearby lighthouses, beaches and various towns in the area. We definitely are planning on returning!

Beautiful Beach

This location was just as described and better. The beach was easily accessible and private and just what we were hoping to find. We enjoyed the week with lots of sunshine and even when it was a little chilly, it was still enjoyable. The host is very good to work with, we loved our stay!

Perfect little getaway

This setting is lovely. Quiet, scenic. A bit of a drive to the neighboring towns, but only about 15 minutes or so. Cottage is small but clean and well appointed. Would stay here again if we return to this area. Owner is very helpful and responsive.

A perfect place

We always take a couple days at a new beach house every year, and this one was easily one of the best. Very clean & comfortable, the listing doesn't do it justice. Beautiful view, and easy to get to beach. Plus there's plenty to do in the area! Highly recommended!

Long weekend getaway

Nice cottage, very clean. Perfect location on the beach. I couldn’t have asked for a better beach. If anything, the stairs to the beach are very steep, but were ok for us. Any needs were quickly responded to. I would stay again.

Best rental ever

This is by far my favorite place I’ve ever rented via VRBO. The house itself is a perfect little cottage, and it was immaculately clean. I was here with my husband and our two dogs and we had the best time going to the beach every day. There is a yard as well and a little deck out back. We cooked each day and grilled almost every night. The lake/beach is unbelievable and so beautiful. Check in /out was super easy. This is my dream house!!

Weekend getaway to visit family

The property was very clean and cozy and nicer than the photos show. It was a little small for our family of five and two small dogs but we were only in town for the weekend for a wedding and graduation so it was definitely manageable. The snacks waiting for us was a huge hit with the kiddos! The outside area has plenty of seating. The beach was so peaceful and beautiful. Wish we could have enjoyed it more. Everything went very smooth and communication with the host was excellent.

Comfy House by the Lake

Our family of 4 had a good time staying here. My wife and I, along with our 2 teenage girls, were very comfortable. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Carrie was very responsive to any questions. Our only regret was the lack of beach due to Lake Michigan being so high. We were still able to take walks along the lakeshore however. We also enjoyed driving to nearby (3 miles) Duck Lake for some kayaking and swimming. We will definitely keep this house on our list of possible places to stay again.

Awesome cottage

This was an awesome cottage! The location was fantastic, the amenities were wonderful, especially the washing machine and dryer. Everything you need was there. A long set of steps down to the beach, which was easy for us to traverse but may be difficult for some. Unfortunately Lake Michigan was very high this year so there was not much beach to speak of, but enough for the three of us. The one issue we had was with the queen size bed in the master bedroom. It was very uncomfortable, hard, with a sunken in area in the middle. The bunkbed Was very comfortable however

Very happy with our first experience using a VRBO. House was clean and fully supplied with bath towels and beach towels. Only two bedrooms with a pull out couch but gives it a nice cozy feeling. Short walk to the beach, with steep stairs needs noting, to a very nice clean beach that most of the time we had all to ourselves! We had a firepit near the house and a firepit at the beach, both we used with plenty of wood to buy local on the way to the house, and each night we watched the sunset. So nice and relaxing. Secluded enough that you feel far away from everything but a short drive to things you need. Great local pizza. Go carts and putt putt near by. We visited the USS Silverside museum about 30 mins away and made sure to stop at a lighthouse. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the privacy the house let us have.

This location is wonderful with convenient accommodations and a beautiful beach. This year the water was warmer and felt like heaven. Girls Night!

My friends and I came to this sweet home to celebrate and send off our friend who is moving away. She was absolutely thrilled with this home as we’re the rest of us! The home was incredibly clean and welcoming, the beds were all comfortable, the view was AMAZING, the beach was quiet and clean, and the host was very responsive and so kind to my group! We were all wishing we could purchase up this home, or at the very least return someday with our own families to show them it’s charm! Definitely recommend!
