"We had a wonderful stay at Lanta Castaway. Our A/C bungalow was extremely comfortable and steps away from the beach. Staff are extremely friendly and heloful. We had some wonderful meals at the nearby Mama Dang restaurant as well. "

"A lovely property slightly tucked off of a main road. Easy check in and a beautiful welcome drink and snack delivered immediately. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
The not so good: air conditioner was not very efficient, garbage/junk seen out the back window, and our room was right next to some sort of working headquarters. This meant peaceful morning coffee intereupted by talking over walkie talkies"

"Perfect on the beach. Good food happy hour bar. Great pool. We stayed in the cheaper rooms up towards the main road still good but basic. We changed rooms as ours was not available but the upgraded room was not as nice no balcony no wardrobe. The cheapest was the better one. But the ones by the beach looked amazing. Koh lanta was my favourite place. And we really loved our time here. 7/11 opposite hotel and an fantastic pizza restaurant too "

"With a short walk to either beach or shared swimming pool there aren’t much else you’d want in a resting place like koh Lanta to ask for. There was although problems with locking the bathrooms. The hostel is close to food and stores but there’s not the best roads for a long walk to different parts of the island. All in all a good experience."
