The apartment was so dusty and the bathrooms were not clean. We tried to request trash bags since is required you remove all trash and got no answers. There were not linen to change in the main bedroom. The kitchen was not clean at all. There is no AC in the se one bedroom. The only positive will be the location and that is very family friendly.

Overall, the room was good. Nice location-steps from the beach, excellent parking, Need some minor changes-bathroom stand need to be replaced (rusted). Bathroom in Master Suite needs a thorough cleaning-some mold inside and outside of shower around the bottom. Need to upgrade iron (outdated-did not work properly). Please read find print (Building DO NOT have an elevator-plenty of stairs). I would recommend this property with the minor changes, because of the location and price (very good price for being steps away from the beach). Family enjoyed our weekend getaway. Booked with hotels.com (the price you see is the price you pay (no hidden fees)

Dear Elliot Beach Rentals and Expedia, I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent stay. While the staff was excellent and the partial beach view exceeded my expectations, I would like to bring several issues to your attention. Although the condo was clean, there was a noticeable odor throughout the unit. Additionally, the accommodations did not match the updated appearance shown in the advertisements. With the exception of the refrigerator, the appliances and furnishings appeared significantly outdated. I also noted that the second bedroom did not have a television, despite it being listed as an amenity. Furthermore, I encountered a few maintenance concerns: - The bathtub in the main bathroom creaks loudly enough to be heard in the living room. - The air conditioning units are unusually loud and frequently woke us up during the night. - A broken plumbing access door was found hanging inside one of the closets. - The patio screen door has a hole in it. - One of the window blinds is broken. I hope these items will be addressed as soon as possible to improve the experience for future guests.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Excellent location. Very quiet and enjoyable. Just steps away from the beach. The only issue I had this year was the room we had was not as clean I would have liked. I had to vacuum myself and the liens were stained. Other than that the stay was great.

Very nice and quiet place to stay

Condo was clean, beds were comfortable, softest towels I have ever dried off with, and location was very quiet. Maintenance was quick to unstop bathroom drain. Master bath was tiny in comparison to most. Shower was large enough to accommodate larger than life person, so it worked. Across the street from the beach, but no buildings to block view. Would definitely stay there again. C-115.

Great location, unit needs updating

The location is amazing, pool and washer/dryer are great accommodations also wifi and cable. The furniture if the unit was old worn out and smelled moldy and of pets. We spent money on cleaning supplies and cleaning/dusting. Unit needs an update on furniture, decor rugs etc.

The location was great and very close to shopping and grocery stores. I loved that the beach was a walk right across the street. The only thing I can think of improving is to addi signs to help find the check in and key return building better. I was fortunate and ran into people who helped me find it, the other guests were friendly!

All was well until we walked in unit E305. This unit is in desperate need of remodeling. It smelled old (think about a refrigerator that's been unplugged for years). We had a great time but we did everything in our power to spend as much time as possible away from this room. Never again Ocean Forest!

My recent stay at Ocean Forest Villas in room 202E was a bit underwhelming. Unfortunately, the room had a strong musky odor, so much so that we had to buy air freshener to make it more comfortable. The condo also felt quite dated, especially the cabinets and closet areas, which really could use a refresh. I think the cabinets is what gave the condo the musky smell. Overall, the experience was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Let’s start with the positive…. The location to the beach and Myrtle Beach attractions was great! The unit we stayed in was not ideal…. We were notified by text that our unit was ready, clean and available for check-in…. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When my family and I entered our unit it was easy to see that it was not cleaned. The floors had not been swept, there was dried food on the counters, stove top and in the microwave…. There was hair in the bathroom sinks and showers…. Also, there was some gross and sticky substance on the lid of the garbage can… I realize people have different definitions of cleanliness, but having to spend the first few hours of our vacation buying cleaning products and cleaning is ridiculous…
