Weekend Getaway

Just came down for the weekend, so was not needing anything extravagant. Allowed us to check in a little bit earlier at no extra charge so that was a plus! Walked in and it was a pleasant surprise, very nice looking place! Started settling in and did notice a few things... living room fan remote barely working (maybe battery), master bathroom sink slowly draining, couch had stains on it, ice maker not working, water pressure very lacking (its the building itself). Since was just a couple day visit, we didn't stress it too much but did inform owner and was willing to send someone out... told him worry about it after we left. Unfortunately on our last night we did kill a cockroach and witness another in the bedroom with 2 beds. Informed owner next morning so he could get that handled before next guests. Great communication overall! Also the remodel of the building is still going on the Beach side and having to walk around still sucks... but the pool just opened at the building. Was our 2nd time at the resort and is probably our last... just too outdated for us.
