The master features a king size bed, large flat screen TV and private entrance to main balcony. The second bedroom has two double beds, third bedroom has a king bed that can be converted into two twin beds on request and the living room has a queen size sleeper sofa. You will also enjoy large flat screen tvs in all rooms, washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen with traditional & Keurig coffee makers, granite countertops and two additional bathrooms with granite countertops. 65 inch TV in the living room TV with internet tv so you can stream your accounts with Netflix, Hulu or YouTube.

The resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quiet family oriented section of the beach. The Cypress Room is an award winning onsite restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner daily with lunch options available on the patio and at the pool bar during the summer months. Activities on site include the indoor and outdoor pool complex which includes a lazy river, three pools, spas, children’s splash pool, and waterfall / rock formations overlooking the beach along with a fitness center and tanning lawn. The condo is high enough up to avoid the pool noise in summer and enjoy total privacy. This condo is second to none in spacious accommodation, luxury appointments, attention to every detail and is in pristine condition.

Beach condo stay

Great location. The balcony view is spectacular. The amenities, including the pool and hot tub and the access to the beach were great. Towel service is included. The unit was very clean and spacious with comfortable bedding. The furniture and decor is a bit dated, but quite acceptable given the price range. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet getaway

Overall it was a beautiful place. The indoor pool was not in order, which was unfortunate. It also said there was a smart tv and that was not the case. However, the room was beautiful and clean, and the hotel staff were all very pleasant.

Family Vacation

The property was nice and clean. The beach and pool were nice. The staff of the hotel do net like people who rent through VRBO. My grand kids were denied activity’s and that hotel staffs attitude changed when they found out you are a third party renter.

The place was older than the pictures relayed especially in master bathroom. There was food still in cabinet and missing door on laundry closet. The views were excellent and loved having a bathroom for every bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay. The rental was spacious and laid out well. The facility amenities were great. Being able to walk downstairs and right out to the beach was fantastic. This rental is due for some maintenance. Nothing major. Provided details to property management company.

Great location. Nice option of indoor/outdoor pool although in October, pools were nearly too cold to use. Nice option of hot tubs, one indoor and one outdoor. Great access to beach that was not too crowded, 10 minute drive from Broadway at the Beach. Would recommend.

Mother's Day Beach Trip

We took our mommy to the beach and she had a great time. The view is amazing, living area was huge and has enough seating for everyone. We enjoyed the live music in the evenings and the pool and beach area. We will definitively be back, if you're trying to decide if this is the place for you, just book it, you will not be disappointed Ceiling fan needs to be cleaned, really dusty so we did not turn it on. The faucet in the kitchen needs to be tighten up, it was very loose.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property at Island Vista and we truly enjoyed it. We’ve been going to Island Vista on and off since 2007 and this condo is very nice. With vthat said, the master bathroom could use updating especially the shower. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend others too as well.

Great place for 2 families

We had a great stay at Island Vista. It was exactly what we expected and hoped for based on the listing and it was perfect for our two young families to share. The ocean view, balcony, beach and overall property were all amazing. We loved all the pool options and shallow depths for the kids and being able to grab food at the restaurant at lunch made things really easy. The furniture and beds were all great. It was really nice to have a full kitchen with everything we needed and three bathrooms for less sharing. We do agree with the previous review that both the dishwasher and dryer didn't work great but was still better than not having them! We liked that the condo was in a residential area nice for walks but still central for easy driving to everything we wanted. Would stay again for sure!

Island Vista Penthouse

We enjoyed our stay overall. The Island Vista is a lovely resort and our favorite place to stay at Myrtle Beach. The laundry room door was broken and the remote in the master bedroom didn't work. My mom uses ice daily, requiring her to go to the 1st floor to get ice as an ice maker was not in the room. The bedroom with 2 queen beds had some metal sticking out that caused sore legs more than once when hit. The condo was clean overall. We love the lower number of people on the beach compared to other resorts.

Beautiful view

The Penthouse was nice and clean. View from the deck was perfect. We really wanted to sleep with the door open and listen to the ocean. That is not possible, if the door is open for more than 3 minutes the smoke alarms go off. So odd. They say you will get a text when your room is ready, been home 2 days and still waiting on the text. This location is at the end of all the other resorts and action, so you are not walking to anything. This is a really busy place with lots of kids. As an adult you won’t be relaxing in a lazy river. All and all it was clean and a nice stay. Very busy.

Another perfect stay at Island Vista

My family has been staying at Island Vista for several years now. Once we found this resort on VRBO, it is our go-to. This property absolutely lived up to our lofty expectations when renting on VRBO for Island Vista. Communication and check-in couldn't have been easier. Upon entering into the property, it was perfect. Exactly what we were expecting after looking at the listing. Wonderful and modern furnishings, spacious layout, and comfy beds were wonderful. I also really liked the fact that this property is at the very end of the hall. Being on the top floor, at the end of the hall means there is almost no foot traffic around your door so it's nice and private. I will always sing the praises of the Island Vista property and staff. It's simply our favorite place to stay at Myrtle Beach. We love the security and safety of this resort, and how wel the staff keeps up the property. It's our happy place! Thank you and we can't wait to return to this property!

Nice view

Property was clean, beautiful view, thankfully new furniture since the previous reviews said stains, overall good, just a few things that were a pain, the dishwasher wouldn’t dry at all, the remotes in all bedrooms didn’t work(not sure if batteries was issue, I changed them and still nothing (just a pain to stand there and change channels and get back up to shut off everytime you wanted to sleep. And the cooking pan, could use better ones, everything stuck to them and took and hr to get clean. So we just ate out, didn’t feel like cleaning. Other than those minor things, it’s a nice place and would return! Indoor pools were pretty cold in Feb. doors to outside open. I didn’t get in unfortunately that’s why we picked that resort for the indoor pools.

Amazing views but dated

Pros: The condo was a great size for 5 adults, the views from the living room and balcony were amazing, the resort itself was very nice and the location was very convenient to restaurants, Broadway at the Beach and other entertainment venues. Cons: very very dated, furniture is old and worn, master bath needs a complete redo, lots of mildew in and around shower, shower head was a battle, and mirror was not clean. We did have an issue with the master bath toilet and maintenance was quick to fix. If you are looking for a “beachy” vibe this condo is not it, too dark and smelled old. Parking garage is tight, our stay was during the Christmas holiday so luckily it was not busy but in the summer time, arriving and exiting the parking garage as well as parking will be a nightmare. Suggestions to owners: invest in some updates: painting, remodel master bath, update bedding, carpet in bedrooms and furniture.
