We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. This is the second time we have stayed at a Marriott Hotel within one year, and the hotel was identified as having an indoor pool. Yet when we arrived and asked about the pool, we were told it had not been available since the fall of 2025. Yet, when we used the television to review the hotel amenities, the indoor pool was featured with pool hours. Clearly, this was false advertising!
Marriott was initially unwilling to refund our money and offered no fee reduction since we used a third-party reservation (i.e. Expedia).
Today, I called corporate headquarters. I was offered 50,000 points, equivalent to approximately one night at a Marriott Hotel and $100.00 toward our next stay.
I would strongly urge any person or couple who values an indoor pool at a Marriott Hotel to call that hotel directly, BEFORE making a reservation, to learn whether an advertised pool is open. It might be best to obtain your response in writing.
