"If I were booking here again I would not get the ocean view because, as nice as it is, it overlooks the docks, which can be very noisy. It's a floating dock and there's an attached piece to it so that can kind of move around depending on the strength of the waves and can be quite loud. The hotel staff were great. The food was very good. Being able to take the ferry and use the facilities at the sister hotel was very cool."

"The staff was helpful and provided a wonderful breakfast. The hotel is older but still nice. We loved the ocean view and were within 15 min walking to most of the shops and restaurants They also offer a pair of bikes for quick trips to the store if you need them"

"Great house for hosting seven adults - personal touch by being greeted by the host on check-in and also a nice surprise on check-out! - location was perfect being near to coast but also easy to drive/get the bus inland - great fridge! - also washer/dryer great - enjoyed visit to fish market and happy with proximity of supermarket and choice of restaurants - best of all was the fantastic view over the bay/sea"

"The atmosphere was amazing. The property sits on a private island a short ferry ride from the port of Katsuura. Onsen was high quality."
