"The sofa in the room was very dusty, our beds were also dusty perhaps no one stayed for a while? There was dust on the windows as if it wasn’t cleaned regularly. We’ve been to many 3-4 stars hotels in Japan and this one had very high positive reviews, however it didnt really live to our expectations. From the outside and at the lobby, the hotel overall looked quite nice but closely in the room it didn’t look well maintained. The wooden floor was badly stained that never got cleaned up, the sofa was very dusty and that perhaps never been vacuumed. The sofa is made of woven fabric upholstery and the threads are already pulling out which makes the room look cheap. We would prefer if it was a leather sofa which would be easier to clean up and feel cleaner. I’m addition, the taps at the sink are also corroded/ rusted which make the room look poorly maintained. The hotel doesn't have a laundry room and the nearest laundromat is 10 minutes away. We should really have noted that in house laundry wasn’t available as this is a big minus for us as well.
On another note, the room was spacious and the staff were very nice and friendly. "
