SandSpur Ocean Cottages
The Sand Spur was in the perfect location. The beach is very easy to access, and the pool was a nice addition. It was fairly quiet, and the staff were friendly. There is some age of the building showing through, but the overall stay was perfect for exploring the Outer Banks.

Blue Heron Motel
On a positive note, we did have an oceanfront room on the 3rd floor and we did feel safe here. Our kitchenette was poorly stocked; no silverware, a small saucepan and 1 small frying pan with peeling non stick interior. The stove was filthy inside and out. Needless to say, we did not cook any meals. ...
