Beach Club by Haad Tien

"Overall Haad Tien was great and would definitely recommend. It has an incredibly beautiful private beach in Shark Bay that is so picturesque. The pools and the outside facilities are great! The staff is so friendly and was really helpful for asking questions and providing support. The rooms probably could use an upgrade, especially the bathrooms. The beds are pretty hard but the room is clean, just basic. The food is more expensive than in town but honestly I felt was very good quality. The location is far from the main area and there are only some times you can get a shuttle from the hotel. It definitely is a hike to get into town and cabs are around 400-500 THB per way, so just keep that in mind. Overall the property is beautiful and i think the beach and the surroundings make up for it not being in town! Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would stay again."

"-Beautiful Ambience -quiet enough for work -delicious breakfast (American style/ Thai style, Vegan banana pancakes) -useful shuttles every 30 minutes for tourist attraction -useful shuttle back to lomprayah approximately every 5 in a half hours -weaker sewage pump so it was advised not to flush paper and to trash it instead, staff was on top of cleaning trash very often"

"The hotel was great, the staff we so kind. Arranged a cake for my daughters 12th birthday. It was a lovely place to stay so relaxing. Highly recommend the diving, Maca was a great instructor. Thank you"

"This hotel has everything you could need. There are multiple pools, the rooms are generously sized, and the breakfast has many options including freshly cooked omelettes and pancakes (though can be extremely busy at times). You can cut across the front road and straight on to the beach. The staff are also extremely helpful. When we realised we would not have enough time to make our flight back from Koh Samui with the ferry option we had chosen, Siri at Reception called Bangkok Airways for us to see if we could alter flights. The only thing we didn't like was our room was close to the beach and there was loud music until late every night that came into our room so suggest booking a room higher up the hill if you are a light sleeper. Also there are mosquitos."

"It might look fancy and pool has been Bangkok there a diamond dozen there’s 100 of them unless you’re Chinese owned or your influence and have an American Express gold card. They don’t want you if you’re American. They don’t want you if you’re American. I got bad vibes after I paid over ฿6000 to stay there I didn’t want me on the property. I’m a US travel 30 years professional Chef and Owner and all the best for them."
Pinnacle Koh Tao Resort
8/10 Good
"Room was dated but clean. The size of the room was great. Keep in mind that there is a lot of stairs! Pool area is in the process of being updated but the pool water didn't seem as clean as it could be. Food was decent just a bit annoying that room service didn't start until 2pm. Breakfast was good, small selection but good tasting."
