Fantastic beach view! Sound of waves was very relaxing. Room had large hot tub. On the downside, carpet could use replacing. Also be prepared to haul your luggage up some stairs if you’re on the 2nd or 3rd floor.

Light over kitchen flickered. The tv kept changing volume of its own accord. Toilet seat was cracked.The fridge was unsteady and a door shelf in the fridge was broken. Otherwise nice spacious and comfortable room but needed a bit of maintenance undertaken. Handy location

The room was very comfortable and clean. Well appointed kitchenette. We had a fabulous view of the beach from our balcony. It was walking distance to down town. The laundry was ok, it had restricted hours and the dryer was out of order, so we dried our clothes in our room. Overall the room and property was excellent.

The whole suite reeked of fish and couldn’t get rid of the smell. Secondary bedroom was tiny (2x single beds) no room for suitcases. Not enough onsite car parks for all rooms, had to park out on the road. Entire suite was spacious, great location, easy check in/out and affordable

This was a great stay that exceeded all expectation. Room was much bigger than expected with an amazing view of the ocean! All amenities you could need, rooms were cleaned and replenished daily. It’s such a great spot for convenience, close to restaurants, bars, corner shops & bike hire. And if you want to dine in the kitchenette is set up with the standard things you would need plus the option of indoor or outdoor dining. Such a great stay at an incredible price. This was a Christmas get away for us and was perfect. Great aircon which was needed, spacious, hot tub bath and the room was clean. bed comfy. Only issue was as is often the case, the fridge froze our food. When the freezer is just that little slot inside the fridge it often does that, so this was an extra expense and having to go out to get more food - not really anything they can do about that as we adjusted the dial and it still wasn't great. But it did not take away from the enjoyment of the room and we would stay again but plan for fresh food every day.

Second time have stayed at Shoreline and will come and stay again when next in Napier. Had stayed in another beachfront Motel prior to Shoreline which was more expensive however Shoreline had a bigger outdoor balcony which you could comfortably sit on and chill out without feeling cramped in. Also the receptionist was super friendly.
