Stunning Blue Door Bungalow In The Heart Of 12 South

We are excited to welcome you to our gorgeous 1920's Craftsman Bungalow in the heart of 12 South, Nashville's hippest neighborhood. Walk to restaurants, shops, and parks, or take an 8-minute ride to downtown.

Our bungalow is a rare gem - 4 bedrooms with 3 full baths, spacious rooms with high ceilings, immense, original wavy-glass windows with beautiful views, large walk-in closets, washer/dryer, multiple outdoor areas to enjoy, and all the amenities of home in a 5-star setting.

This was our home for 12 years, so whether you're traveling with family, friends, or on business, you'll have more than you need for an amazing stay.

Guests have access to all rooms on the first and second floors, and all outdoor areas, including the front porch, private side patio, and spacious fenced-in yard. You have full use of the 4 car driveway. The basement is locked for storage.

We provide access to the house through a keyless entry system, so you can enjoy a peaceful arrival and departure. However, we are available to assist you via email, text, phone, or in-person if needed, as we live just 15 minutes away. Quick family trip to Nashville

We decided rather last minute to take a road trip to Nashville, and were able to book this beautiful home. Dana was an excellent communicator way before we even got there. She was so nice, and because we have kids about the same age, she generously offered up things for us to do in the area. Another thing she did, that has never happened to me in renting a VRBO, is offered us early access to the home. Obviously I'm sure this isn't always possible, and in our case, we couldn't get there early anyway, but it was such a kind gesture. My wife and I are both into older homes with a historical feel, and this one fit the bill perfectly. And although it is old, it is charming, cozy, and has all the modern conveniences one would want or need. It's also stocked with the little things you may not have time to pick up, like toilet paper and soap, and coffee. The neighborhood is super cute and walkable, and is just a few blocks away from some awesome restaurants and fun places (my kids loved "Wanna Spoon", a cereal/ice cream place. Dana checked in from time to time, and was just awesome. Most VRBO's these days seem like they are managed by property companies, so to have the personal touch offered by the person who owns the property is really special. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing Space

We came to Nashville for a quick weekend getaway. The Blue Door Bungalow was the highlight of the trip! We couldn't have found a better location. The neighborhood was quaint and safe. There was easy access to restaurants and entertainment. The home was breathtaking! Everything we needed was available to us from bottled water in the refrigerator to Kureig pods to extra toiletries just in case we forgot something! Our contact communicated effectively and was available to assist us if a problem arose...but we didn't need a single thing as everything was perfect!

8 family members from CA NY and TX, Comfortable bedrooms for all, 3 full bathrooms so we all could get ready easily. Well-stocked with paper goods and linens for all. Kitchen has everything we needed!

Wonderful House

Everything was great. The house is beautiful and very well equipped. There were even toys fro our grandchildren to enjoy. The location is very convenient to several restaurants in the 12 South neighborhood and a short drive to the entertainment venues on Broadway. Highly recommended!

Family time

Great location for our adult family to gather for a few days in Nashville. Great location with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Proactive and accommodating owner was wonderful. Blue door bungalow

This was a girls weekend, friends and adult daughters. The house was in a great location, and had plenty of room for all 9 of us. Plenty of counter room for all our snacks and beverages. 12 South shops and restaurants were just a short walk away. It was a little warm upstairs even with the air on but we did not spend much time inside. We would stay again.

Best house and location!

Exceeded expectations!

This house is a beautiful property in an awesome residential neighborhood while simultaneously being a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops in 12South. Super clean and well stocked kitchen for cooking. Sometimes older houses can feel a little dingy but this place sparkled. Great gathering areas inside and out for catching up or spreading out-we never even turned on the TV. Easy 10-15 minute ride to the majority of local attractions and Ubers/Lyfts are always close by. Dana was great--we had no issues so really just communicated about checking in and out briefly. I'm already trying to find an excuse to stay here again.

Terrific place

Our stay at the Blue Door Bungalow - VRBO was terrific! The house was exactly as described, and Dana was lovely to work with and beyond accommodating. A great neighborhood close to everything we wanted to experience in Nashville. Hope to stay at Blue Door Bungalow again.

Great House in 12 South

Awesome house within walking distance to 12S. Super clean property. We had four couples and there was plenty of room. Dana was an great host, she checked on us several times and made sure we had everything we needed. Really great experience.

Fabulous

This house is fabulous! It was so spacious and super clean. The owner was very easy to communicate with. She was very responsive anytime we had a question. This property is in a beautiful neighborhood and is walking distance to some great restaurants and a quick Uber ride to downtown. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend booking this house.
