"Quiet location, bus stop is just outside the Pollock Halls grounds. Walking distance to the city. It is an old building, very charming and well maintained. However, there is no lift , staircases are narrow , getting help to bring luggage up can be a bit of of a wait. Overall, always a lovely stay."

"The staff was exceptional. We arrived early before our room was ready and the staff took care of our luggage and directed us to a delightful afternoon tea while we waited. We blew an electrical breaker trying to use an American hairdryer and they promptly got the electricity fixed. They were very flexible with dinner reservations, working around our daytime activities."

Room was extremely spacious , hotel is in a fantastic location just short walk to the train station and everything in old town. Highly recommend for location and price !"

Das Hotel steht in einer ruhigen Wohnsiedlung nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, sehr gut mit mehreren Bussen zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Rundum gelungener Aufenthalt."

"An excellent location off the Royal Mile. The room was spacious, and the in-room washer/dryer made our trip easier. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a Sainsbury nearby for groceries. This room (#4) faces the back courtyard and church - we found it very light-filled yet without street noise. There is no elevator, but the steps were easy."
