  • Welcome to Bay Side Retreat, an elegant four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home nestled within a gated coastal community. Just a short walk or bike ride from the peaceful waters of the Sound and three blocks from the Gulf’s famous emerald-green waters, this beautifully appointed retreat offers the perfect setting for your beach getaway.

    With soft coastal décor, rich wood flooring, and granite countertops, Bay Side Retreat blends upscale comfort with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. The home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests, with dedicated sleeping arrangements and no sleeper sofa.

    The fully equipped gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances, and ample storage, making everything from leisurely breakfasts to family dinners a pleasure. Its open layout flows into the dining and living areas, creating an inviting space to gather. Comfortable, coordinated furnishings and a smart TV make the living room ideal for unwinding after a day at the beach. A convenient half bath is located just off the living room.

    The main-floor primary suite offers a king-size bed, TV, and a spacious private bathroom featuring a soaking tub and separate walk-in shower.

    Upstairs, you’ll find a washer and dryer, two guest bedrooms with queen-size beds and private bathrooms, and a fourth bedroom featuring two XL twin-over-queen bunk beds with access to a shared hallway bathroom.

    Community amenities include a private Sound-side beach, an unheated swimming pool, and a bubbling hot tub, conveniently located near the community’s main entrance. Paddleboards are also included with your rental, with a $500 deposit required.

    Dog-Friendly with Prior Approval

    Up to two dogs, each weighing under 40 pounds, are welcome with prior approval. A $200 cleaning fee applies per dog.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and amenities of this rental is perfect. We had everything available to us as described. The house is beautiful and clean. We were so close to the ocean and also the sound. We spent a lot of time between the two as well as at the pool. There are so many things to do within short travel distances. There is a wonderful playground and splash pad just before you leave Navarre to come across the causeway to Navarre Beach. We loved Harbor Village and took the kids on the Buccaneer Pirate Adventure. We had a blast at Lagunas in Pensacola. Mini golf and shopping are close. Had such a terrific time! Will return and book this rental again!

We had such a great experience! The home was beautiful and provided kitchen provisions were great quality and quantities!Plethora of beach toys and chairs - we didn’t even need to bring additional towels. Loved having the paddle boards available and a place to wash all the sand off. Bunk room was perfect for the kids! Would book this location again any day!

We would stay here again! The house is in a good location with access to a beach on the sound which was appealing to us since we had a small child with us who needed calmer water. The interior of the house was perfect for a family and well equipped. Bonus....lots of things to "play" with were there like bikes, water toys, etc. We could not be happier about our stay!

Family Fun

This house lacked for nothing, Amenities galore! I would definitely recommend you rent a golf cart as it is a hike to the beach with all the gear needed for a fun day. The community pool was small but that’s not what we come to the beach for. We would definitely rent this home again.

Perfect for big family

We traveled with 3 couples and kids! Bunk room was perfect for kids. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (pots pans utensils). Home was very clean! Appreciated the wagon and beach items. Outdoor shower was awesome and walkable to beach or sound. Perfect quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.

Great house, plenty of beds for all and the children loved the bunks. Living space large enough for all and well equipped kitchen. Walking to Bay side of property was a hit and we rented the golf carts for a quick ride to the Gulf and restaurants. Loved everything about this place, highly recommend it. Management was quick to respond to our questions.

The kitchen was fully stocked with a toaster, muffin tins, and a blender. The only recommendation was to ensure the "starter roll" of paper towels is new. Our starter towel was 3/4 used and thankfully I brought a new roll. Also there was no starter trash can liner for the kitchen, but we used the trash bags we brought.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is located in a nice gated neighborhood. The moment we walked in, we were happy with the cleanness and layout of the home. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook or grill with, and there is plenty of seating to hang out. We came with a family of 4 and appreciated that each bedroom had its own full bathroom. It had 2 refrigerators (kitchen and garage), so plenty of food storage for large groups. The home is close enough to the beach where it is about a 10 min walk. We didn't use the community pool, since we had the whole ocean to swim in. The owner was super responsive to all of our needs, so we will keep this place in our back pocket for when we return.

This house is amazing! It is the most well appointed house we have ever rented. The furniture and decor are very pretty. It has everything you could ever need. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, cooking appliances, cutlery, plates, cups and more. Every room is spacious with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The bunk room is so cool. Big built in bunks that our grandchildren loved. The master bedroom is very pretty and the master bath is beautiful. The garage contains so many things! Extra bikes, beach wagons, beach toys (so many beach toys), extra refrigerator, paddle boards and a kayak. An absolute hidden gem is found at the end of the cul de sac in a beach access to the sound side. As you walk down the walkway and round the corner you are greeted by a beautiful beach area. It was truly gorgeous. Going out of the complex and crossing the road a short way is the gulf side beach access. The pool and hot tub are also good.Our local family joined us one evening for dinner and there was plenty of room for everyone. We are delighted to have found this wonderful house and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Bay Side Retreat for providing such a great house and taking the time to thoughtfully stock your home with everything anyone could possibly need.

Family Beach Trip

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, last and middle - we love the property management team (Navarre Sands Rentals-NSR). We have rented from them for several years now in this same development and area and have had stellar service.That being said, this particular home was not the best experience. The AC struggled continually, even at a moderate setting (75) both upstairs and down. Refrigerator icemaker did not work, and garage fridge was not working when we arrived (it did eventually start cooling). The unit was well outfitted and even had some things I was not expecting and the laundry room is a dream!The bunk room was perfect for one young family with us and it was nice for each bedroom to have a bath. And again, NSR responded immediately and helpfully to any issue we had. I just don't think we would book this unit again.

There were nine of us and the four bedrooms worked perfect for us. The gated community the house is in, is very nice. The bay was just steps away and the beach was just a short golf cart ride away. Navarre Sands not only manages the house, but also rents the golf carts. We had great communication with Chris at Navarre Sands. He was very prompt on answering all our questions and taking good care of us. The pool was great for the children, well actually we all enjoyed the pool. We usually stay right on the beach where ever we go, so this was a different experience for us. Even tho we didn’t have the beach view, everything else was great and we had decided this was one of the best places we have stayed. Definitely would recommend.

2026 Family Vacay

Cleaned and well maintained.Its in a great location about halfway between the sound and the beach. Private Unfortunately, I never made by it to the beach and only once to the sound. I took a tumble on the first day and broke my foot. The stairs were a bit of a challenge but once you made it to the top. Oh my! I couldn’t have ask for a nicer place to be laid up. My grandchildren absolutely loved the bikes. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was amazing. We were traveling with our adult children and their families. We had plenty of room. It was a game changer! No issues parking 3 large vehicles either. I would definitely recommend this property!

Family friendly quiet beach stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 3 moms and 7 boys loved this stay. The space was perfect for us, and the kids enjoyed the bunk room. The living and Dino’s area were comfortable. It is elevated, so you need to be able to climb the flight of stairs into the home. The houses are in a line on the cup de sac and many are homeowners, which gives it a neighborhood feel. In that regard , it is a quiet area. Probably not ideal for a rowdy group. The proximity to the back bay is wonderful, and there is a really nice little beach there which offers a beautiful sunset and swimming without the wave action. The national seashore is minutes away on foot and the beach is a quick hop across the street. We walked , but there is parking if you have a load of stuff or little ones. The swimming pool was close and clean. The staff was very responsive and polite. They were very easy to communicate with over text message. We have been taking this trip for 6 years, and we all voted this home our best stay.
