Hotel Aldiola Country Resort

"We had a wonderful stay here as a family of five. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with two very clean bathrooms, three single beds and one double bed. There was air conditioning in every room, as well as a large balcony with beautiful views overlooking the lake. The room also had two TVs with a good selection of channels, including Sky Italia. The pool area was lovely and well maintained, and the restaurant offered a great selection for breakfast. We only had dinner at the restaurant once during our stay, but it was excellent and we definitely wish we had eaten there more often. The resort is in a very remote and peaceful location, which is perfect if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. However, I would definitely recommend having a car, as you'll need one to get around. On-site parking is included, which was very convenient. I didn't see any gym facilities apart from two treadmills, which unfortunately we couldn't get working, so this could perhaps be improved. The staff were always friendly, helpful and available whenever we needed them. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend this resort, especially for families looking for a peaceful getaway."

"The property was beautiful but the service was severely lacking. I would personally not define this hotel as a 5 star but definitely a good 4 star. Upon arrival there were no welcome drinks or any sort of welcome. We arrived early (which we had let the hotel know in advance due to this being the only flight into the island that day) and they were not able to accommodate an early check in which is completely understandable but instead we had to follow up with them 30 mins after the time of our check in to find out the room had been available and they did not notify us as they said they would so we had just been sitting around waiting. Breakfast was good. The room cleaning was bare minimum, one night they forgot to do our beds and just turned on the night lights. We had an insane amount of ANTS in our room and when we told the front desk about the issue they responded with “it’s nature”. They ended up sending a guy to spray down the room from insects and when we came back to our room there was a pile of dead ants that they didn’t clean up. We also had to remind them 3/5 days to refill our room water. There is no service at the pool and the bar by the pool took extremely long to make your drinks. Overall all the guests we spoke to seem to have had mutual feels about the hotel and the service. Truly not worth the premium price."

"Wir haben uns in dem Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Fabiana ist eine tolle Vermieterin, hat sich gekümmert mit der Wegbeschreibung bei der Anreise und uns gute Ausflugstipps gegeben. Ein Vorteil der Unterkunft ist das freistehende Haus mit viel Platz und Ruhe. Mit dem Auto kommt man in kurzer Zeit zum nächstgelegenen Strand und zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen."

"Stayed for 4 days in Azerchena. The location is nice, easy to walk from here to the town center and the restaurants. The house is nice, but the floors and dishes could have been cleaner before we arrived. There was an issue with the hot water tank, but the host was able to resolve it."
