"The best thing about this rustic little lodge is the location! You have a private beach on the Kern River right outside the room! The owners are super chill and friendly! The AC was working its ass off to keep us cool on 95+ days but boy was it LOUD!! We literally had to go get earplugs😆 All in all, a lovely little family owned lodge for all of your Kernville adventures."

"What a beautiful spot on the river to relax with family.... The place was so cute and comfortable and had everything we might need - even towels to use by the water! It's close to town on a very sweet street - great for morning walks. They made everything super easy, start to finish. I have already recommended to friends and family!"

"absolutely one of the highlights of our trip... a nature loving, off grid, quiet and zen, yet boujie experience! host/owner Kenneth was amazing and shared how this vision came to be.. super nice guy.. we stayed in Limitless mirrored cabin, and it was wonderful... the river below soothed our spirits... and the interior made you feel one with the outdoors..Excellent"

"We booked this property after a horrible experience at another place and we absolutely loved it. It was beautiful and so picturesque, clean, stunning, and just wonderful. The host was very kind and friendly, & the restaurant had the most delicious food. We were very pleased with it. The only downside is that the road up there is very long and windy and lots of pot holes. Some areas are paved and others are not. It took us 1.5 hours to get there from Hwy 198. We were very nervous driving on it, but once we got to Silver City, everything was fantastic and some of the most pristine and beautiful scenery I've ever seen, especiallyif you go the end of the road past Silver City to the valley. It looks like Switzerland!"

"Room is clean. Staff is friendly. But front office most time empty. You need to call. AC is good. No kitchen in my room. Refrigerator. Coffee maker. Microwave are working well. I really like the rocking chair outside my room. Make me feel so relax."

"we liked the location as it had easy access to the river. The place was quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. The parking was easy and nice. We didn't interact with the staff much, but those that we did interact with were pleasant. Our only criticism was as regards the kitchen. The electric stove top had only one working burner. The refrigerator was not set properly and thus many of our food items froze. But, when set properly it worked fine. So check refrigerator settings when putting ones food in. The lighting in the kitchen area is poor as the light source is kind of behind the area of operations. Note though, we did not bring this to the management's attention during our visit. But, in our defense, we expected everything to be operational when we arrived. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again."
