The Charela Inn staff and the restaurant staff were incredibly warm and welcoming! We did have an issue with our AC unit going out but were quickly offered a second room and the manager helped us move our things. The property is well cared for and the beach front is ideal! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Charles was overall great! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable! The property is centrally located on 7 mile beach, making good walks in either direction when leaving hotel. We would absolutely stay here again!

Decent smaller hotel on 7 mile beach in Negril. The room and grounds were very nice, beautiful beach with lots of palm trees for shade and lots of lounge chairs. We didn’t love the restaurant — had 1 breakfast there and chose to eat elsewhere for the rest of the time but there are lots of good options nearby, especially the jerk chicken place across the street.

Charela Inn is a private owned business, and staying there provides reseources to the people of the country. I loved tue services from the staff, very attentive and professional, yet warm and friendly. The rooms were well serviced daily and the food was on point daily. We stayed in the beginning of October and had a great time. Our family was catered to and we would definitely recommend staying here. Great location along the seven mile beach.

Was a business trip so just a one night stay.It was important to us that checking in etc was quick. It was and everything was excellent the location can't be beat and the restaurant and staff were excellent. Highly recommend.

Location is great and the property offers free parking. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property is quiet and cozy. However, it is a bit outdated. The bathrooms could use a facelift. It is not as modern as nearby lodging. However, Charela offers the essentials for a quick get away.

I loved staying at this hotel. My room was right on the water. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a problem with the air conditioner but they fixed it right away. It was difficult to do much sight seeing due to the distance from Negril and some of the activities as well as the expensive transportation in the area. I got two massages on the beach and was able to just unwind and relax after my mother passed away. I chose this hotel because it is Jamaican owned. The beach was perfect with enough shade and a peaceful area.

The room is very clean. The housekeeper does a great job. The room is nice. However the prices at the restaurant are expensive and the customer service can be better. People are not that friendly & customer oriented in comparison to the other hotels.
