"Cottage was exactly how it was advertised and was great for our family (including one dog) for a long weekend. It was very well appointed and exceptionally clean. We had one very minor issue whilst staying (portable room fan not working - it was the hottest weekend of the year so far!) and contacted Orion Holidays who demonstrated exceptional customer service by responding and remedying within a couple hours. The only negative for the estate is the lack of parking - each property generally has one allocated parking space, any family with an additional car had to park in another area which wasn’t a problem for us. But this space wasn’t big enough and resulted in other users parking on verges and receiving notes on their windscreens. Not their fault really - they had parked as best they could when all other spaces were taken!"

"A lovely weekend spent with our grown-up children and baby granddaughter. The open plan living area worked well with plenty of space for all. A very well equipped kitchen made cooking stress free. The outside table was a lovely spot for breakfast. Parking was easy-we had 3cars and no issues parking outside the house. Bedrooms were suitable for our needs and fans supplied-particularly needed for top bedroom in the heatwave. It was a Beautiful spacious bedroom with en-suite, but only one small window with no airflow unfortunately. Pete and Liam, the property managers, were quick to reply to messages.Facilities onsite were close by including the activity centre and lakes to paddle board on. Overall location was close to Cotswolds country park and to lovely Cirencester and a big Tescos should you need supplies. We enjoyed our stay."

"The accommodation is nice and in a lovely spot but after staying in many places at lower mill it would benefit from upgradjng some things, having 2 baths and only a shower downstairs doesnt make sense and makes showering a juggle, it needs new mattresses and the pontoon needs some tidying up as its not useable for access. The accommodation is in a perfect spot and was very clean. We had a great holiday."

"This is my second time in one of Orion Holidays properties. I visited with my son and three very young grandchildren. I love the views from the houses overlooking a pond or lake where there is lots of wildlife to observe. I like the green spaces between houses and it was very dog friendly when I brought my dog on the first visit. We had the indoor swimming pool included in our deal but unfortunately it was closed on the first day so we only managed to use it once. We went to the outdoor pool instead which is heated to a good temperature despite being outdoors. My son and children hired bikes and were out and about most of the time on them. The Balihoo restaurant is very convenient for a meal and we took advantage of the "Children eat free" deal. The houses are very comfortable and well equipped and the hot tub was a bonus with the children."

"We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage overlooking the lake, with passing wildlife, plenty of sunshine, and beautiful views. Both balcony bedrooms shared the same outlook, making the mornings especially memorable. The house is very comfortable for up to 7 guests, with a large open-plan living area featuring a balcony, log fire, TV, big kitchen table, and a well-equipped kitchen. There was ample seating throughout, though the sofas didn’t quite accommodate all 7 at once. Onsite facilities were excellent, including a great restaurant, spa, swimming pools, tennis courts, water sports, and children’s activities. Offsite, there are scenic walks along the Thames Path and easy access to pubs and sightseeing, with Cirencester close by for Roman remains, museums, shopping, and dining. Communication with the booking team was very good—comprehensive, if at times a little overwhelming due to the volume of information. We had no major issues during our stay and only reported a few very minor points to the helpful onsite maintenance team. Overall, a spacious, well-located property that makes for a relaxing and activity-filled break."
