"Firecrest was a superb house everything you could want was provided including extras - tennis racquets and bslls & table tennis bats and balls. The view from the veranda on the upper floor was sublime and sitting there early morning was so relaxing. The info and updates from Bolthole staff were brilliant. We would highly recommend using this company we will be recommending them to our friends . If you are going to the Cotswolds look no further than Bolthole Retreats."

"For our extended family, this was a fantastic property: superbly equipped, very comfortable beds, spacious accommodation and with ample space to suit everyone's needs. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the pool facilities and on-site restaurant made keeping the grandchildren occupied, as well as meeting the adults' needs. As a very minor issue (which did not detract from our overall experience), some areas would benefit from being refreshed."

"This is my second time in one of Orion Holidays properties. I visited with my son and three very young grandchildren. I love the views from the houses overlooking a pond or lake where there is lots of wildlife to observe. I like the green spaces between houses and it was very dog friendly when I brought my dog on the first visit. We had the indoor swimming pool included in our deal but unfortunately it was closed on the first day so we only managed to use it once. We went to the outdoor pool instead which is heated to a good temperature despite being outdoors. My son and children hired bikes and were out and about most of the time on them. The Balihoo restaurant is very convenient for a meal and we took advantage of the "Children eat free" deal. The houses are very comfortable and well equipped and the hot tub was a bonus with the children."

"We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage overlooking the lake, with passing wildlife, plenty of sunshine, and beautiful views. Both balcony bedrooms shared the same outlook, making the mornings especially memorable. The house is very comfortable for up to 7 guests, with a large open-plan living area featuring a balcony, log fire, TV, big kitchen table, and a well-equipped kitchen. There was ample seating throughout, though the sofas didn’t quite accommodate all 7 at once. Onsite facilities were excellent, including a great restaurant, spa, swimming pools, tennis courts, water sports, and children’s activities. Offsite, there are scenic walks along the Thames Path and easy access to pubs and sightseeing, with Cirencester close by for Roman remains, museums, shopping, and dining. Communication with the booking team was very good—comprehensive, if at times a little overwhelming due to the volume of information. We had no major issues during our stay and only reported a few very minor points to the helpful onsite maintenance team. Overall, a spacious, well-located property that makes for a relaxing and activity-filled break."
