I informed the hotel of my arrival time more than 24 hours in advance, but I never received a reply or any information that the hotel would be closed.
When we arrived, we found the hotel completely dark and the entrance closed. We asked staff at nearby shops, and they confirmed that the hotel was not open. This was very shocking and frustrating, especially as it was already after 9:00 PM.
Only at 9:18 PM did I receive an email informing me that the hotel was located at another property. By that point, we had already spent time trying to find out what was happening.
What disappointed us most was the lack of communication. We had booked the room more than a month in advance, which gave the hotel plenty of time to provide the necessary information. Instead, we were left stranded late in the evening without any notice or guidance.
This experience caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience, and I believe the hotel should communicate important information to guests much earlier and more clearly.
