More commonly known as The Green Loch. I stopped here on a hike to Bynack More on a beautiful day. Legend attributes the green colour to the Fairies washing their clothes here, it's also been speculated that the trees on the floor of the loch give it the unusual hue.

Tree Pipit Anthus trivialis, Abernethy Forest, Scotland, UK.
A beautiful small Loch near Aviemore.
This naturally turquoise coloured loch is situated in the Cairngorms and is about a half an hour walk away. This was taken on a cloudy day, on a clear day the loch is even more captivating. #nationalpark
