The host is amazing, we had being planning for a year, we were in constant communication with our host, arranging transport to/from airport and driver for two days. Everything went stress free, always helpful and thinking. Host arrange for sandwiches for us when we left because we could not utilize the breakfast. Book them, you will enjoy it.

Perfect walkable location to the top of hoodoos, restaurants, all the different little shops . Friendly staff at hotel, so beautifully decorated. Enjoyed the many different areas to sit & relax on rooftop with the perfect views & the beautiful relaxing music on site! Our upgraded suite was perfect & really big, a sitting area to relax in with little fridge. The breakfast was so amazing & so many choices. The only bad thing was the headboard over our bed stank as its so old but beautiful. I think just washing it would remove old mold smell! Love the cats & the beautiful dog! Keep up the great inviting vibes you have at this special place!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel and truly appreciated the warm hospitality of the staff. The cave room was spacious, spotless, and made for a truly luxurious two-night experience. Above all, I’m grateful for the exceptional support from the staff. When my arrival in Cappadocia was disrupted due to weather—resulting in landing at a different airport—the hotel responded quickly and handled everything smoothly. In every other aspect as well, their willingness to assist at any time was truly appreciated. Throughout my stay, every staff member was friendly and welcoming, which made my time here even more enjoyable. Breakfast was also delicious. It is served from 8:30 a.m., so it’s worth keeping in mind when planning tours. That said, I was able to enjoy breakfast after my hot air balloon tour, which returned around 7:30 a.m. If I return to Cappadocia, I would definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you very much!

Umat was very friendly, helpful and kind. Didn't push for anything but made sure we had good options for the activities we wanted to do and very good recommendations on restaurants nearby. Fairy chimney room was awesome. Little tight on space but has all modern amenities inside while preserving the ancient feeling. Thanks Umat for everything, you made our trip a great experience. We will definitely meet again.

Lovely hotel

Great little hotel. Received a very warm welcome. We left our car on the main road & walked up to the hotel & were directed to where we could park almost opposite the hotel entrance. Hotel room was comfortable, although our room would of benefited from blackout curtains. Buffet breakfast was good. The terrace was great, you could watch the balloons from it

Staff & property's location & features made our stay a pleasant & memorable one. Perhaps one area of improvement to be considered is the starting time of breakfast be earlier, let's say 7.30 instead of 8.30. The ending time can be brought forward to be fair to staff's work load & the hotel owners' cost. Earlier start also means that travellers can move on to their day's plan in cooler weather as the heat increases as the day progress.

Hot rooms

Great location and service was good but we didn’t stay for the full time we booked as we couldn’t sleep as the room was an oven. Temperatures were higher than normal, room didn’t have aircon so it was so hot. They provided a fan but all it did was blow hot air around. We slept with the door wide open and the window open but it was still incredibly hot. So if you are not used to very hot room temperatures, stay somewhere else. They did offer upgrade us but we didn’t feel a different room was going to be better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is close to the centre and the Open Air Museum. Everything in walking distance. The terraces offer many seating areas and also a first class view of the hot air balloons at sunrise. Staff were all friendly and extremely helpful with arranging tours and restaurant reservations. We enjoyed our stay in Goreme. The hotel was well situated close to lots of restaurants and some of the sites. The owner and the staff were very nice and attentive. The upstairs terrace was very enjoyable and has a great view. The only downside was the shower which would benefit from an update.

I had such a wonderful stay here! From the moment I arrived, the service was excellent. The host and owner were amazing—warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They even upgraded my room free of charge, which was such a thoughtful surprise. The rooms themselves were beautiful and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The staff was consistently friendly, and any time I had a question, responses over WhatsApp were quick and helpful. They even went above and beyond to help plan my activities so that I could make the most of my time in the area. The food was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. On top of all that, the location was incredibly convenient, surrounded by plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations in every way. I’d absolutely recommend it and would love to come back again!
